Budget Inn Watkins Glen

This Budget Inn is very clean and the service is great. The owners live on site so they are always available if you need anything. I have to say I was a little worried when they told me it was only $85 plus tax per night; I immediately thought it wasn't going to be so nice but I was wrong. I would def refer friends/family to stay here and I would stay again. This hotel is right on the main street so the traffic is very busy but it's quiet at night. Everything that you could possibly need is in walking distance-CVS, grocery store, liquor store, pizza hut, burger king, dunkin dounuts, ice cream and the State Park. The one thing I was disappointment about was we had the king size bed which didn't include a frig & microwave. They do however offer foam coolers with ice so that was good. all in all def a good place to stay.

Very adequate accommodations!! Has frig; microwave; iron & ironing board. TV was not easy to operate. No Internet for TV. Bathroom huge with nicest shower ever. Hair dryer mounted on wall beside sink. Beds/pillows comfortable. AC very comfortable. Only downside was check in procedure. Owner couldn’t get my credit card to go through at check in. Evidently a glitch in his machine!

This is the third time that my husband and I have stayed at this particular Budget Inn. It's just perfect for our trips to the Finger Lakes region. The rooms are clean and there is a decent sized refrigerator and a microwave. There's no coffee pot in the room; however, coffee, juice and light breakfast items are in the office each morning. The owners are very pleasant and will address any questions you may have. You have your own parking space in front of your room. The location is so convenient with a grocery store directly across the street, restaurants within walking distance, and gas stations close-by. The roads north takes you to the many wineries. What could be better?

Very disappointed in this establishment. It is very dated there’s not much room in the room and I would not recommend this to anyone. Beyond the good thing is it is very close to Seneca lake and downtown Watkins Glen. It is right on a main drag So you hear lots of traffic.

Great location. Right across from Tops/gas station and Liquor/wine store. Subway subs just down the road, and a few steps further was Watkins Glen Park; a little further to reach the waterfront and many options for waterfront dining/drinks. The room was clean, spacious enough for a couple and had a larger mini-fridge with small freezer. TV was flat screen and worked great, as did the microwave. No coffee maker in the room, but coffee & continental breakfast was available in the lobby. Coffee, tea, juice, fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries, etc. Bathroom was separate with a closed door and bath/shower combo. Hot water for the shower and good water pressure. Was quite pleased and stayed here 2 nights [after only planning on one]. Would stay here again if/when we return.

Perfect little place to stay for our tour of wine country. Very clean and quaint with nice lawn care. Easy parking. Small breakfast and coffee were nice. Room was exactly what we expected for a great price. We stayed here two nights and we would come back again
