Riverbend Retreat Fla

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. The property is lovely and extensive: there are lots of places to sit, relax, and enjoy the view/peace. The owner is delightful and welcoming. The staff is kind and effective. My bed was great as was breakfast. I appreciate their having me!

We came across the Riverbend Retreat while searching for places to stay in the Tampa Area, more specifically Riverview. We booked a room and hoped for the best. We couldn’t be more satisfied with our decision. The area is absolutely stunning. The home was beautiful. The Inn Keepers were friendly and responsive to our questions. We stayed in the Rejuvenate Room. It was very comfortable and our private bathroom was right next door to our bedroom. I believe the other rooms had a private bathroom inside each room. There are two shared living rooms that were large and welcoming. Outside the home, there was no shortage of relaxing places to sit and unwind…porch swing, loungers, Adirondack chairs, loungers, and hammocks. The best part was the view. You can sit at the fire pit right by the river or alongside the nature preserve. Kayaks are available to paddle along the Alafia River. There’s an enclosed outdoor pool on the property to relax in. There is plenty of shade with all the beautiful trees and foliage. The continental-style breakfast and coffee and tea selection for the Keurig was delightful. We enjoyed breakfast outside along the river. For entertainment, they had several board games, a piano, guitars, arcade game, ping pong table, and many other amenities. We had weekend plans in the Riverview area this trip but we would go back again just to stay and relax at the Riverbend Retreat.
