"A lovely colonial building with a charming patio. The rooms are a bit small but have a nice style. Tea and coffee (only on the second day) available in the lounge area. There is a jacuzzi (or I should say a bathtub) available but at a fairly high fee. We were offered a deal: 15$ per person per hour instead of 25$. Were trying o enforce their taxi to go to Chimborazo for 40$ when a taxi there only costs 7$ one way. Were very fast checking us in, so fast they never asked for our passports and never asked us to pay, even at check-out - on that day they were too busy sorting out their computers. Then it was a nightmare to transfer the money. Breakfast was the usual and was only ok. Quantities were small. Had to ask a member of staff to get water. Staff speak basic English - they seem to speak English only as information is not always understood."

"Was für eine Suche! Wir haben in diesem Hotel während unseres Fahrten von Quito nach Cuenca geblieben. Es ist zentral gelegen, elegant ins Innere, sauber und sehr ruhig (die Zimmer sind von der Straße in Richtung eines Zentralhofs ausgerichtet). Wir haben sehr gut geschlafen. Dieses Hotel verfügt über ein niedriges und aufmerksames Personal und verfügt über die modernsten Sicherheitsmerkmale eines jeden Hotels, das wir während der drei Wochen von Ecuador Reisen übernachtet haben. Unser Zimmer umfasste Parkplätze (in einem nahe gelegenen verschlossenen Garten) und Frühstück (mit amerikanischen Standards, über dem Durchschnitt für Ecuador)."

"Wir haben in Hacienda Abraspungo in einer Suite Familiar geblieben, die ein eigenes Schlafzimmer, zwei Doppelbetten in einem gemeinsamen Raum, eine volle Küche und viel Platz für ein Paket und Spiel für das Baby hatte. Das Hotel hatte genug zu tun, um unsere 1.5 Jahr alt für den Tag unterhaltsam zu halten - ein Swingset, Spielplatz, Tiere usw. Das Personal war schnell und untergebracht. Wie erwartet, war das Hotel am Wochenende viel arbeitsstärker als während der Woche. Ich würde hier wieder bleiben!"

"Basic little hotel with a great location. The King Suite we booked did indeed have a huge, comfortable bed, a decent shower, and a little sofa, but not much else in the way of storage, floor space, or amenities. All a bit dated but perfectly functional, and we appreciated the quiet position on the second courtyard. Simple breakfast at the café right next door. Competent staff, no-fuss luggage storage after checkout. All in all, a decent choice for a couple of nights in Riobamba."
