Lovely hotel. Pricey, but everything was top notch. Pool is delicious. We booked the big suite on the ocean .... just wonderful. Room service was good every time. Nice little bar upstairs with a view. Of course the location is great, right in Leblon.

Janeiro is perfectly located in Leblon, by far the most beautiful area of Rio de Janeiro. Staff is just incredible, super young cool and professional! Special mention to Thiago who took care of us very carefully making Rio one of the most exciting trips for me and my wife. Breakfast is delicious with an amazing view over the ocean. Highly suggested to book a suite with the ocean view, it’s life changing waking up with that view. Bravo!

This hotel was top notch. I wasn’t sure where we wanted to stay in Rio but was most concerned about safety and thought Leblon would be a good neighborhood. The hotel and area felt very safe and was super clean. I love that the hotel let you use their chairs on the beach for free. We got the breakfast included - do it! It’s so worth it. The coffee was one of the best I’ve ever had. And obviously the pool and pool bar are spectacular. For the price of the hotel the drinks felt reasonably priced.

I just got back from a trip to Rio and had the most amazing stay at Janeiro Hotel. Here's why I think it's a fantastic choice: **Location:** The hotel is right by the beach, which was perfect for morning walks and watching the sunset. It's also close to lots of great places to eat and shop, so we never had to go far for anything. **Rooms:** Our room was super comfortable with a stunning view of the ocean. It was clean, modern, and had everything we needed, including a really nice bathroom. **Service:** The staff here are great. Everyone from the front desk to the cleaning team was friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had a good time. They even helped us book a couple of tours and gave us some great recommendations for local spots to check out. **Amenities:** We loved the pool area - it's a great spot to relax after a day of exploring. The hotel also has a gym and a restaurant that serves some really tasty food with a good mix of local dishes and international options. **Overall:** Janeiro Hotel made our Rio visit extra special. It's a beautiful place with a chilled vibe, perfect for anyone looking to enjoy the city in comfort. I'd definitely recommend it to friends and would love to come back next time I'm in Rio. It's not definitely a 5-star hotel as we have in Europe. The staff is super friendly. The food is great. Tiny rooms, but comfortable. Great views from the top floors. The location is “location location location” in the best part of Leblon. Pool area very tiny

I was so happy I picked Janeiro Hotel. It’s located in a very safe area of Rio with the beach directly across the street and walking distance to many shops and restaurants. I felt very safe during the day but I opted for Ubers to go anywhere at night at the advice of everyone I talked to. I loved the rooftop pool and bar area. The restaurant was fantastic and I was really impressed with the cocktails as well. The service was exceptional and the room was fantastic. I loved the ocean view, the smart tv, the technology in the room, and the bathroom was huge and incredibly well maintained. I’d absolutely stay again!

We chose Janeiro hotel for its location and the quality of the reviews. It didn’t disappoint! Janeiro is right on the beach at Leblon. Complimentary bikes are available for two hours and they also have a complimentary beach kiosk service directly in front which we recommend. The hotel is close to the metro which is handy. The breakfast is of a high quality although slightly expensive. The breakfast room offers sweeping views over the beach. The positive revelation of Janeiro was the staff: they are friendly, caring and professional, operating with military precision. Felipe, the manager, is super friendly and professional, as are Miro and Ferrara on the front. Gabriel helped us purchase tickets at the last minute to a concert at the Theatro Municipal which we greatly appreciated. A couple of specific examples: 1. When we mentioned to Marianna that there was an issue with the lack of natural light in the bathroom, she offered us another room. 2. My partner became suddenly quite unwell when we were out of town for the day. These situations in another country can be overwhelming and concerning, however the staff were exceptional in going to the pharmacy, and helping us navigate a visit in the late evening to the emergency section of the local hospital (in particular Tiago, Carol, Carmilla, Manuella, Gabriel), but also checking on us in the ensuing days. This meant a lot to us. We would love to return. Highly recommended!

Fantastic hotel. On a wonderful part of the beach in Rio. Less crowded than Cococobana felt very safe there the whole time. Great wide walkway along the beach rooftop dipping pool great staff and fantastic breakfast. Highly recommend. Small boutique hotel so it’s not crowded. Only children over 10 allowed so adult vibe.

We had stayed here many years earlier under a different name - and it has only got better since then. We splurged on a beach facing suite, and it was worth it. A highlight was the roof top bar where you can get the best caipirinha in town, unrivalled views of the beach and Corcovado, as well as great meals. We were reluctant to wander the streets at night for a place to eat, so this was our go-to place. Wonderful. Hotel staff were great. They quickly arranged for a very reasonably priced transfer back to airport when we had to leave.
