My friend and I have just returned from celebrating a special birthday at Northcote. It was a terrific experience from the moment we arrived when we were greeted on the terrace by the friendly team. We lunched on the terrace with a light snack and the best chips we have ever had. Our room was delightful with every attention to detail paid in sophisticated style. Comfortable beds and lovely linens. Lots of appreciated touches to create a comfortable stay. The five course gourmet dinner with a new summer menu created very recently was sublime. From the 'snacks' to dessert, every course grew in intensity, ingenuity and flavour. It was truly wonderful. Among the special touches for my friends birthday, a card and a glass of complimentary champagne. It is these gestures that add that extra delight to an altogether memorable occasion. Finally the jewel in the crown, the team who work so hard with ever present hospitality that are a credit and the epitome of Northcote. Return visit definitely on the cards.

We've just refurned from 4 nights at The Avenue, what a brilliant place to stay. The suite gave us (and our preteen) plenty of space to relax AND get ready for a family wedding nearby. Food in the restaurant was delicious (we had pizzas & burgers one night, then breakfast, a roast and evening snacks on the Sunday) and very well priced. Although we faced onto a road, the fact that this is a gated community meant that it was peaceful and quiet, and for a Bank Holoday weekend we didn't have any disruptive noise from the bar (even better that the rooms are in a separate wing). We elected for the paid cooked breakfast on the Sunday which was lovely, and took up one of the Continental breakfasts included in the price - it was fairly basic but suited our needs. The other 2 mornings we popped to the Coffee Shop across the car park for a delicious well priced cooked option. Adequate parking, a night door (handy if you're staying whilst attending an event nearby). Beds were comfortable, even the sofa bed our daughter was sleeping on. Due to the Bank Holiday and the timings when we were using our room, we didn't see housekeeping but managed to get extra towels and other items as needed. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Absolutely would stay again if in the area and will recommend to others.

Der Kühlschrank ist ein großes Merkmal, wie das große TV, das auf Nachfragekanälen verfügbar ist. Die Lobby ist sehr groß und auf hohem Niveau dekoriert. Fast alle Sitzbereiche haben Stromsockel, so dass es keine Notwendigkeit, sich um einen sterbenden Telefon oder Laptop-Akku, die Sie ablassen. Das Hotel bietet kostenfreies WLAN über das gesamte Gebäude und ist sehr zuverlässig. Das Hotelteam ist sehr hilfreich und nichts ist zu viel Problem. Sie sind schnell, um mit allen Fragen, die Sie während Ihres Aufenthalts haben können, umzugehen. Ich freue mich immer auf hier zu bleiben und von einem großen Personalteam gut zu beobachten.
