We stayed at the campsite about 100 yards from The Ring , we would of stayed at The Ring campsite but it was full , so this was so close we had an evening meal, a romantic Valentines Day special which was great we had a lovely evening and great food, we booked breakfast for the next day which was great , if you’re ever in the area don’t hesitate to enjoy a meal there or a few drinks there.

Stayed 1 night in the puffin room. First impression was good. Nice spacious clean room and puffin decor and easy chairs. But the bathroom was let down by rust on the fitting, moulding on the shower seals and a very musty smell. As we wanted to relax with no tv, our peace was disturbed by talking and noise from the bar followed by Bingo.. Dinner was good pub food and the breakfast very good.

On our first time out campervanning and hoping for a great start so took a recommendation from friends to stay at The Ring; so glad we did! The pub is easy to find in the northern centre of the Island. Our welcome was friendly and we were given a quick of the facilities before we parked up in our pitch for the night. The site is very tidy, neat and has a small cosy feel. Being new to this we haven’t got a lot of reference points but the washing, toilet and showers facilities were fresh, very clean and I assume at the higher end of standards. We took advantage of the pub for our evening meal and I can thoroughly recommend them for the excellent grub, varied menu and a tasty ale. Overall an excellent experience and all very reasonably priced too!

The food served at the Ring was delicious and very wellcooked, the serving staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the menus. This is a very clean pub, tables were kept cleanand the toilets we clean. Ample parking and we enjoyed our meal

We stayed one night in our camper-van in the carpark with use of the facilities for £10. We were greeted warmly and were shown around the site. The toilet & shower block were spotlessly clean, spacious and warm! We enjoyed a couple of pints of local ale and a nice meal in the pub. Again, very welcoming and friendly. Food was just what we needed, hot, decent portion size, and tasty. We had a good nights sleep and went off on our travels the next day. It was our first trip in our campervan and I think we chose a fab spot and will be back!

Visited here for the first time this month and we were very happy. Recently refurbished the interior decor is excellent and the chairs were super comfy. Very friendly waiting staff. The food was very tasty. We were there on a Sunday so we obviously had Sunday lunch. Both myself and my wife had beef and the kids went off the kids menu. All items tasted fresh and not much bought in stuff. Which is a good thing these days. The deserts were lovely. I had the coconut cheese cake,my wife had a lemon meringue Eton mess style dessert and both kids has the small portion churos with chocolate dip which obviously went down a treat! Will definitely be going back as we have no negative comments about this pub.good job!! The pub is also dog friendly if you have a well behaved pooch.

Came here with my family amazing staff the service was amazing and the food was Devine. Had the pie of the day would highly recommend.the refurbishment really bought great character to the place and the crab linguine was to die for. Would come again

A hidden gem. Excellent food and service, great atmosphere and reasonably priced food. Good portion sizes... The establishment was very clean with good seating areas and tasteful decor. I will definately return here and recommend to others

Absolutely fabulous room with complete attention to detail- wide selection of beverages and a fridge with milk and water. Very clean, comfortable and with a good quality breakfast included. We had an evening meal in the popular bar which was enjoyable also.
