Das Personal war sehr freundlich, das Frühstücksbuffet sehr umfangreich und mega lecker. Wir sind für Ausflüge gut beraten worden. wir hatten eine suite mit einem Doppelbett und einer Ausziehcouch auf der gut zwei kleinere (bis 10 jahre) Kinder oder ein Erwachsener schlafen können. Jeden Tag haben wir neue Handtücher bekommen. Und der Zimmerservice hat sehr sauber gearbeitet. Man kann leicht den Strand erreichen. am Strand kann man zwei Liegen und einen Sonnenschirm für den ganzen tag für 15 euro buchen, und kann jederzeit den strandabschnitt wechseln oder essen gehen, solange man den zettel aufhebt gilt es überall. der Strand ist sehr sauber es gibt überall Toiletten und genügend Mülleimer und Umkleidemöglichkeiten. vielen dank wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Gute Lage, 20 min vom Flughafen, Zentrum gut zu Fuß erreichbar, wenige Schritte zum Strand. Kleines Zimmer und extrem kleines Bad. Ausstattung könnte besser sein. Balkon mit schöner Aussicht. Yoga am Pool und abwechslungsreiches Programm mit Livemusik. Tolles Restaurant mit super leckeren Essen und vielfältiger Auswahl, sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Restaurant Personal. Efcharisto und liebe Grüße an Savvas und sein Team und die Küche!!!!

Ich kannte das Manoussos von unserer Abreise in 1996. Ein sauberes, freundliches Mittelklassehotel in perfekter Lage für City-Touren, Gastros, Shopping und kurze Wege zum Strand. So kehrten wir diese Ostern, bei der Suche nach einer günstigeren Unterkunft, hierher zurück. Natürlich ist das Hotel und fast alle seine Bereiche in die Jahre gekommen und zeitgemäß würde ich das ganze auch nicht nennen, aber man gibt sich sehr große Mühe durch Pflege, Sauberkeit und extremer Freundlichkeit dem Gast ein gutes Gefühl zu geben. Und das klappt auch wunderbar. Die Zimmer sind sehr einfach, sauber, aber stilistisch verstaubt, mit verhältnismäßig großen Balkonen und Badezimmern. Von den ”Street View” Zimmern kann hat man direkten Blick auf die Morgensonne und den Mond. Letzteren kann man direkt vom Bett aus genießen. Dennoch: Abgesehen vom wertig und hübsch modernisierten Poolbereich kann es einfach nur die ehrliche Herzlichkeit und Servicebereitschaft des Personals sein, die das Manoussos als City Hotel am Leben erhalten. Daher bricht es mir das Herz, dass ich das Manoussos aufgrund der nachfolgenden negativen Punkte bedingt durch die Party-Nachbarschaft nicht besser bewerten und empfehlen kann. Das Hotel befindet sich in direkter Umgebung zur Barstraße ”Orfanidou”, dessen mal weniger mal mehr Besucher von den Barbetreibern ungehemmt bis in die Nacht mit offenen Türen beschallt werden. Und damit auch alle umliegenden Hotels. Im Manoussos sind davon trotz doppelter Fenster ausnahmslos alle ”Sea View” und ”Side Sea View” Zimmer betroffen. Die Street View Zimmer sind weniger betroffen, aber werden nicht verschont. Wir konnten in unserem ”Side Sea View” Zimmer leider NICHT schlafen und haben nach 2 Nächten kapituliert. Und das bereits nur mit der im April geöffneten Zanza-Bar; eine von insgesamt 5 bis 10 Bars, die hier ab Mai/Juni bis September/Oktober extrem laut, aber eher schlecht Party machen. Wir bekamen ohne Einwand und verständnisvoll ein Zimmer auf der Straßenseite, welches aber - ich vermute ab Mai - sicherlich bei offenem Fenster auch von den Restaurants, Bars und Besuchern der Leontou Street (die Straße vom Hotel) beschallt wird. Aber definitiv nicht so stark und gewiss nicht so lang ihn die Nacht, wie das die Lärmbelästigung durch die furchtbaren Bars der Orfanidou Street verursacht. Ich habe die Orfanidou Street schon als junger Party-Tourist auf Rhodos nicht gemocht und werde sie jetzt und künftig im Alter erst Recht nie mögen. Das Verhalten der Barbetreiber ist 100% respektlos gegenüber all den Mühen der Hotelbetreiber hier. Wenn die ihre Fenster und Türen geschlossen hielten, wäre viel getan. Aber wiederkommen kann und werde ich von April bis Oktober leider nicht.

Es war ein traumhafter Aufenthalt!! Die Angestellten sind überdurchschnittlich freundlich und sehr um die Gäste bemüht. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt. Die Anlage ist super schön und gepflegt. Die renovierten Zimmer (DeluxeRoom) sind auch wirklich sehr schön und modern und neu. Unser Zimmer (815 Deluxe Room Sea View) war zwar mit 26qm etwas klein für uns kleine 3er Familie, aber es war sehr modern und neu und die größeren Bungalowzimmer waren aufgrund des unrenovierten Zustands keine Alternative für uns. Aufgrund der Größe des Balkons wäre wahrscheinlich eine Juniorsuite noch ne tolle Option gewesen, aber Preisliste natürlich nochmal ein ganzes Stück teurer. Das Buffettrestaurant hat eine relativ große Auswahl an Speisen. Nur für kleine Kinder gab es nicht ganz so viel Abwechslung. Dennoch war unser Sohn mit Reis und Nudeln pur, sowie mit Kartoffelpüree und Brot/Brötchen immer zufrieden. Toll war auch das Angebot an frischem Obst und Gemüse. Die Getränke waren im gesamten Hotel wirklich gut und hochwertig. Keine billigen All Inclusive Gemische, wie man sie woanders schon erlebt hat. Lediglich der Apfel- und Orangensaft schmecken sehr unnatürlich und überzuckert. Verschiedene Kaffees wie Cappuccino oder Latte Macchiato waren wirklich auch ein echter Genuss. Super ist auch die Autovermietung direkt unten im Hotel. So konnte man sich spontan informieren und hatte auch das Auto ohne lange Wege bereits vor Ort. Toll war, dass der Housekeeping-Service auch zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt nochmal kam, wenn man zur ursprünglichen Zeit noch im Zimmer war. Das einzige was ich sehr schade fand, war, dass hier unentwegt und lange Liegen reserviert wurden und wir uns dadurch sehr unter Druck gesetzt fühlten, uns schnell fertig machen zu müssen. Die ersten Tage war es auch echt schwer etwas zu bekommen, wenn man nichts reserviert hatte, aber mit der Zeit wurde es besser. Entweder, weil dann mehr Liegen zur Verfügung standen oder weil dann weniger Gäste da waren. Alles in allem war es win traumhafter Urlaub mit viel Entspannung und das trotz kleinem Kind und das hat wirklich was zu heißen.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich aufgenommen. Das Hotel hat eine super Lage zum Strand,zur Altstadt und zum Hafen. Man konnte fussläufig viel unternehmen oder mit dem Linienbus oder dem Schiff. Zimmer minimalistisch eingerichtet,aber mit echten Holzmöbeln, sehr sauber. Personal sind alle super freundlich und herzlich. Wenn hier jemand schreibt, dass sie unfreundlich wären, dann sollte man überlegen,ob man selbst das Problem war. Denn so viel echte Freundlichkeit und Herzlichkeit erlebt man selten. Aufgrund der Lage an der Hauptstraße ist das Hotel etwas laut,aber schließt man die Fenster, ist sofort nichts mehr zu hören. Und Meerblick bei den Zimmern ist wirklich Meerblick. Essen war lecker und sehr gut und auch abwechslungsreich gestaltet,selbst wenn man kein Fleisch ist. Besonders hervorzuheben waren im Service im Restaurant Maria und Antonis. Super freundlich,hilfsbereit und aufmerksam. Das wirklich Einzige,was mir gefehlt hat,war ein vergrößernder Schminkspiegel im Bad,allerdings nur wegen meiner harten Kontaktlinsen.😉 Danke an das gesamte Personal für den gelungenen Urlaub, wo sie alle ihren Anteil daran hatten.Wir kommen gern wieder.

Convenient location, friendly helpful staff, spacious accesible kitchen with lots of cutlery and other options for prep. Ovens and stovetops all worked fine, and fridges had lots of space. Staff had tips on local places to visit, and did outings like the highly recommended sunset sail trip. Incredible experience there What disappointed me was where I stayed in the hostel. I was put in the basement, in a room with 2 other people. The 3 beds room option does NOT work. Horrible idea, any sounds are made louder because the space is so tight. Also, during my stay, basically everyone there was sick or coughing, or something was going around. Some of the staff got sick, and a few members despite having colds or active coughs, were actively working instead of isolating or resting. I saw one member cough right into their hand then go to pick fruit to make a drink at the bar with, yikes. Some of the staff though know to be responsible and isolate... Smacked my head 5 times going to the washroom or going up and down the stairs, or under low doorways. Felt like I was a prisoner or something else by being in the basement, it really made the stay worse. Also, the room is right next to the kitchen and outdoor seating area, so all that noise comes right into your room. My suggestion: stop renting the basement out, enforce quiet hours earlier (some of the staff really did not care about that). Would not stay again, sorry. My visit to Rhodes was great except for this.

We stayed in the Sheraton Rhodes in the first week of July (2 adults 2 kids), last minute booking through Voyage Prive (booked Wednesday, flew Saturday). I found all the reviews here helpful in deciding to choose this hotel; here are our own experiences. Overall very happy with the hotel, facilities and service. Hotel rooms - we had guessed the hotel was built in the 70s/80s as the rooms and building itself are quite bland (actually built in 1993). We had Deluxe Sea View interconnecting rooms on 10th floor which suited us perfectly. View is fantastic - you can watch the sun set over the Turkish mountains on the far side. It was €4200 for the week for 2 Deluxe sea view rooms with ‘full board plus’. The minibar only had water and the waters were not replenished at all during the week. This seems almost a regular thing now with even top end hotels and in any case water bottles are 60 cent in the 1st floor minimarket. The king size beds are very nice. The hotel itself is not 5-star equivalent by European major city standards but nor are you paying anywhere near European 5-star prices for your stay. We found the hotel good value for the money. The public interior areas are clean and well-thought out. The lobby and the atrium around Knights bar is lovely. They have a baby grand piano open to anybody to play which is a really nice touch and adds a lot of character to the place. You’ll find kids and grown ups alike playing. There’s a nice mix of many different nationalities with the guests. Pools: 3 outdoor pools, with plenty of sun-loungers and parasols to go around throughout the day. The pool on 6th floor is very quiet and amazingly only ever had 3 or 4 people in it, with loads of space around it; the restrooms and showers here are even marble-tiled. Restaurants: the Castellano restaurant for breakfast and dinner buffet is very good and the staff there are excellent. There is a good mix of fruit / salads / hot food / cereals / breads. We never had to wait more than 2 minutes for a table outside. Non-dairy milks are still clearly not a thing for most people as sometimes these had bits in them, stick to soy milk rather than oat / almond! Themed nights meant sushi, Mediterranean options etc. as well as the usual main buffet selections. Full board +: we had 3 meals plus drinks included for the week which was okay value (about €900 for full board and €200 for drinks). Sheraton could organise this better. You get a paper card with your meal plan written on it which you must show staff every time you sit down for a meal, until they get to know you. Why they don’t just record your meal plan with your room number in the system I don’t know. With so many staff involved in serving drinks / issuing the bills etc, mistakes can happen the odd time. The extra for ‘drinks’ is about the price you would pay anyway, because as we found out on the first day, only one drink (juice, beer or house wine) is included per person. We usually have a lot more than one

The hotel is clean and well maintained and the staff are helpful and friendly. We didn't eat in the bar so I can't comment on the food but it looked good and plentiful if a little overpriced! Be aware though that almost EVERYTHING is an extra so budget quite a bit more if you want to use sunbeds, air conditioning or wifi. We didn't as the costs were outrageous. We had a Superior Studio apartment and the beds were very comfortable and the room cleaned daily. We didn't find any of the 'complimentary' toiletries which they advertise although we had a lovely but empty liquid soap dispenser! The shower is really good and would be better if the shower screen had been bigger. They do supply a squeegee for you to remove all the water that sprays all over the bathroom floor. The shower has a fixed head and can't be adjusted and there is a switchable hand shower head for squirting your 'bits'. A good hair dryer is provided. The biggest deal-breaker for us was that in no way was it a fully equipped self-catering apartment. There is NO KETTLE, NO TOASTER and very little of anything else in the way of kitchen equipment. A coffee peculator is provided which is useless (and I stress useless) for making tea. If you want to self-cater, the very reason we booked this hotel, don't bother booking here. You will be very disappointed. If you want to eat out there are many very good restaurants within very short walking distance. You'll be lucky to get breakfast before 10:30 AM though. If you are a light sleeper then think about what it would be like sleeping within one meter of your fridge compressor turning on and off all night long. The balcony is far from private and ours had only a view of an orange tree which was sprayed with chemicals (I assume) every couple of days! It was right next to the walkway to all the other apartments which is great if you want to meet everyone while you're trying to eat your boiled egg and no toast breakfast washed down with lukewarm tea! All in all we had a great time in Rhodes and this hotel could so easily be made to be perfect but sadly I really think they are more interested in taking money than providing a comfortable self-catering holiday experience. Still gave them an above average score though for all the good reasons stated above but we won't be staying there again for all the many bad reasons. Be sure to check out the Royal bar just round the corner. The food is wonderful, the owner and staff are fantastic and the prices reasonable. A bit further on is the San Allotte restaurant which is equally good (maybe better) but more expensive.
