Upon arriving at Eagles Nest hotel we were forced to pay a charge of 9 Euros to be moved to the other hotel which was not optional as we were not able to stay at the original hotel. Once we had paid the 9 Euros a taxi pulled up outside and drove us to the other hotel. Before getting in the taxi we were not told the name of the hotel or how far away it was, which for two young women this was rather distressing as we could have been taken anywhere. The taxi driver was very dangerous and he overtook a car when there was another car heading straight towards us; we thought we were going to be in a huge head on collision with no seatbelts to protect us; luckily he swerved and missed the oncoming car by a couple of meters. Upon arriving at the new hotel the room we were provided was dirty, had no working air conditioning, and the hot-tub we had paid extra for did not work. It took the hotel 2 hours to move us into a room with working A/C, by which time we had gone to reception 5 times to ask if it was getting resolved, and had lost the entire afternoon of our first day of the holiday. The room we were moved to was still dirty, with ants and dirty towels. The bed didn't have a sheet only a folded paper thin cover that didn't cover the double bed so we had to take it in turns for who got it each night. The food at the hotel was inedible as within the buffet area the food was left out for hours and covered in flies. At the end of our holiday the transfer was scheduled to pick us up from Eagles Nest hotel as that was where we were originally dropped off and we were unable to change it with the provider. To get us back to Eagles Nest, the hotel said they had arranged a car to take us to the hotel free of charge. The car that they had arranged was the maintenance man's own personal car that was essentially falling apart and was very dirty, the seatbelts did not work and several empty bottles of wine were in the footwells of the car. Again this was very distressing for two young women as we could have been driven anywhere by this stranger in a banged up car. We were only booked in for 3 nights for the last bit of sun before heading into the darkness of UK winter, but as soon as we arrived we wished we had stayed in the frost at Stansted. I wouldn't wish the experience on anyone. Avoid this scam of a hotel.
