Yesterday I first became aware of your response in late 2022 to my review. I stand corrected on the date that we paid (in full) directly to your Hotel 488 Euros in Jan. 2020 to stay at your Hotel at a later date in 2020. It was April 2020 when international travel from Canada came to a halt due to Covid spreading around the world with deadly results. We were forced to cancel our entire 5 week trip to Portugal and 3 Greek Islands. All 9 Hotels, Car Rentals and Flights to Europe, Portugal and within the Greek Islands were sympathetic and refunded 100% of our monies except for you Eleni. We did not use a third party to reserve any of our Hotel stays. We deal directly with the Hotels as we did with you. It was after many discussions with my husband that you finally conceded in allowing a 50% Credit (244 Euros) to be used within a time restraint. When travel throughout the world resumed, we did stay at your beautiful hotel and ate at your lovely restaurant. In our discussions with you and your Father, not once did you suggest we could use our Credit Balance towards our meal. You had us pay in Full….it was only on our last night we told you to apply our Credit Balance towards our meal. It’s your business practice that I question Eleni, when we couldn’t even fly to Europe, instead of honouring the 488 Euros that we paid you, you decided to keep 244 Euros of our money for no services or stay rendered. You were the only business that did that.
