Zimmer sauber und zeitgemäß, ziemlich ein großes Zimmer für drei Personen. Personal half, unsere Kleidung, die schön war. Gute Lage, in der Nähe der Treffenpunkte von Touren, und sogar man konnte uns vor dem Hotel aufholen! Brillantes Frühstück mit verschiedenen Arten von Lebensmitteln. Hat hier einen angenehmen Aufenthalt!

My wife and I stayed here for four nights before embarking on a cruise. Room was very comfortable and was serviced every day at our request. When departing and boarding the cruise ship my wife realized that her small jewelry case was missing. I immediately contacted the hotel by email and within 10 minutes had the response that item had been located. Hotel offered to send it back to states but within a female minutes suggested that she would give item to taxi driver who within an hour delivered it to ship. Definitely will recommend hotel to others visiting wonderful Reykjavík

Sehr gute Lage, sauber, Wasserkocher, aber ich benutze immer noch meinen eigenen. Ich kann mir an der Rezeption einen Steckkonverter ausleihen. Das Frühstück ist gut. Das Frühstück kann für 4-5 Uhr reserviert werden. Nachteile: Das Zimmer ist sehr klein, es gibt keine Hausschuhe. Bitte hängen Sie die Reinigungskarte für einen Tag auf, und abends wird eine vietnamesische Tante sie reinigen. Ich weiß nicht, warum das Hotel ein spezielles Zimmer für gelbe Haut hat.

Diese Bewertung werde ich vermutlich wiederholen weil die erste ausführliche Bewertung nicht gespeichert wurde. Ich muss aber jetzt meine Zeit nutzen am letzten Tag meines Aufenthalts in Reykjavik Positiv Zentrale Lage Empathisches, gut ausgewähltes Personal Negativ Der Preis ist völlig überzogen, ich halte ihn für 30% zu hoch. Ich hatte zuerst das Behindertenzimmer, das sehr ruhig war und eine gute Größe hatte mit ausreichend viel Tageslicht. Leider war niemand in der Lage die störende Air Condition abzustellen. Wo bleibt hier die Verantwortung des Managements? Ich bin dann umgezogen in 121, ein kleineres Zimmer, das leider während des Tages künstliches Licht auffordert, es ist dunkel im Zimmer, aber angenehm ruhig ohne Air Condition Condition. Der Frühstücksraum ist leider zu klein, es kommt zu viel Unruhe. Bei diesem extrem hohen Preis könnte dem Frühstück mir Aufmerksamkeit geschenkt werden, es ist eine überschaubare Mittelklasse.

Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und warm. Jedes Zimmer hat ein separates Waschbecken. Wenn Sie vom Flughafen KEF kommen, können Sie einen Flybus zu diesem Ort nehmen. Das war für uns sehr praktisch.

Great location for shopping on the way to the main attractions of the (very walkable) city. On arrival staff provided us with clear directions for our first day of touring. The room was very comfortable and our request for a quiet courtyard room was granted. Breakfast was outstanding as were all our interactions with staff, including the booking of our bus ride to KEF airport when we departed. Recommended,

Trotz guter Lage direkt an der Innenstadt meines Eindrucks nach ein vergleichsweise gühnstiges Hotel für die Verhältnisse von Reykjavik. Zudem stehen zahlreiche kostenlose Parkplätze hinter dem Gebäude zur Verfügung. Mein Zimmer war tadellos, gut instandgehalten und sauber. Die Betten vielleicht etwas schmal aber nicht zu schmal. Trotz der Lage an einer Durchgangsstraße war von Verkehrslärm kaum etwas zu hören. Das Frühstück war reich an Auswahl und wie für Hotels gewohnt. Klar größter Bonus: Das ganz besonders freundliche und hilfreiche Personal der Rezeption!

Unfortunately, before we had even arrived I had contacted the owners to find out if towels were included in our stay and we never received a response. Upon entering the triple studio apartment, we noticed paint/concrete flaking from the wall and one of us even had to put a blanket above the bunk bed to stop debris from falling onto the bed. The property is described as including toiletries and tea and coffee but there was no tea bags and the amount of instant coffee in the container was barely enough for one day. The toiletries were what looked to be shower gel that had been left behind by the previous visitors. When searching for your standard shampoo and conditioner that we're expected to be on display, we found two empty alcohol bottles full of cigarette butt's inside them and bottle tops left inside one of the bed side tables. This suggests that the apartment is rarely cleaned. There was an awful smell of egg/faeces when using the shower and there was no where near enough toilet roll for 3 people for 3/4 days. We understood that the accommodation was described as a guesthouse, however, despite the fact that there was a 'no noise after midnight' policy - the people staying in the otherside of the guesthouse were noisy and shouting all through the night and playing loud music which meant we could not fully enjoy our plans the following day. Overall, we would not stay here again and do not recommend the guesthouse if you want a clean and tidy stay. We decided it would be worth spending extra money next time for a comfortable, reassuring stay somewhere else inside the city.

We booked a stay at Alfred Studios but had to cancel our reservation due to changes in our travel plans. The cancellation process through a third party did not go as expected, and I was in a very stressful situation, thinking I would have to pay thousands of dollars for a stay we were not going to complete. The owners of Alfred Studios worked with me--they were very gracious in allowing me to cancel without fees, even though they are a small family business and had to risk not renting the three rooms I had booked with them for the week stay. They are a true example of what those in the service industry should be. I will definitely stay with them when future travel brings me to Iceland and highly recommend their property to anyone looking to book a stay.
