We stayed here one evening on a multi-park trip that included Yoho and Revelstoke. Very clean and tidy rooms. Amenity room on the top floor where breakfast is served. Hotel has a Gin & Tonic kit that can be delivered to your room. This should be a national requirement. Tip: Check kicking horse canyon road construction schedules frequently. If closed causes a 2 hour detour to/from Revelstoke back to Banff/Jasper.

Fantastic hotel , beautiful rooms and really good facilities. Owner was responsive and helpful. Highly recommended for a stay in the revelstoke area. Rooms were clean and comfortable and a great breakfast was included as well . Complimentary parking

we made a last minute booking for a twin suite since the b&b we booked was sub par..the owner checked us in and gave us a connecting suite and double bedroom..the room is done up in the highest possible taste.. the amenities excellent..the common areas very good..the food at the restaurant amazing..

A great experience. Close to restaurants and museums and a short walk from the running/walking paths on the river. We loved the upper floor lounge for relaxing in after a day on the road. Breakfast was excellent with a good selection of local and good quality items

We liked the quirky name, and because it was only nine rooms, a restored building, expected lots of little quirks. So wrong! This hotel was completely updated with the sophisticated traveler in mind. Rooms with high ceilings and exposed beams, looking out on the main street and charming "alleries" art, top notch amenities, comfy chairs with throws to keep warm, and a friendly and professional staff who helped at every turn. Though we were headed further east, we wanted to stay longer, just because it was so comfortable, unique and unexpected. You just don't get exposed wood beams and brick in a hotel these days, and it is a treat to discover a place that is just so different and superior to many others. We will definitely return! (Also, the restaurant's food was exceptional - thank you, Louise from Australia - and the morning complimentary breakfast featured Montreal bagels plus a meat and a vegetarian quiche option. They even asked if we had food allergies! Attention to detail makes this heads and shoulders above most!

What a fantastic place to stay when visiting Revelstoke! My 13 year old son and I did a road trip through BC and decided to book this hotel because of its location in the heart of the town. We got so much more than a great location. The staff were so friendly and inviting and the service was terrific. The room was cozy, clean and seemed newly redone, with modern/rustic decor and comfortable beds. The complimentary breakfast in the upstairs lounge was terrific. I would highly recommend this hotel if you want a small boutique hotel (only 9 rooms) experience.

Just returned from a three week vacation, Victoria to Calgary. Along the way we stayed at mostly highly end / high rated hotels. We spent two nights here and were not disappointed. The service was friendly and they were quick to answer questions and/or offer suggestions. We were pleased to be offered an upgraded room which provided us with a couch and chairs along with a great bed. The shutters, brick walls etc really give the room an older feel but the bathroom, places to charge your phone etc all made it feel very modern. The location made it easy to walk everywhere including to live outdoor entertainment which was happening a block away while we were there. We would highly recommend it to others looking for a place to stay in Revelstoke.

We stayed in room 3 the Engelsman Suite which was extremely comfortable and well appointed. Ryan checked us in and was helpful throughout our all too brief stay. He is a real treasure. Breakfast on the terrace was wonderful - we were lucky with the weather. Visited in July. Can’t recommend this hotel highly enough.
