Außergewöhnlich, super Zimmer mit sehr viel Charme. Tolles Essen, es wird jeden Abend mit frischen Zutaten vom Hof von den Eigentümern gekocht. Alles ist auf dem Hof angebaut von den Zucchini, Tomaten, Auberginen bis hin zum selbstgemachten Käse von den Schafen oder Honig der auf dem Grundstück lebenden Bienen. Neben dem Essen gibt es selbst produzierten Wein und Limoncelllo aus den hauseigenen Reben und Zitronen. Jeden Morgen gibt es frisch Schlemmereien, ob Kuchen oder Kekse. Gastfreundschaft wird hier groß geschrieben und es wird einem zu jeder Zeit von den Lippen abgelesen was man braucht. Wir haben hier wunderbare Tage zu einem beeindruckenden Preis-Leistungsverhältnis verbracht! Vielen Dank, dass ihr uns auf eurem wunderschönen Hof eine so schöne Zeit beschert habt :)

Recommend renting a car to go around as it's rural. Highly recommend eating at the hotel as food is exceptional and better than other places whitin the nearest town. Very relaxing place, definitely going back again. There is towels and few toiletries in the room. Authentic Sicily experience with best home cooking. Highly recommend!

What an incredible experience. Pure rest for body and mind. Such a beautiful family and their home. The best food ever. All made from on their own land grown produce. Best orange jam we ever tasted in our lives. Was so sad to leave. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a rest from busy life.

The hosts went above and beyond. Their food is amazing and all sourced and cooked on L'Uliveto. Best food we had in Sicily. Incredible place with amazing views. Totally relaxing up the mountain, really relaxing and chilled. It's definitely worth a visit.

A perfect traditional, family run farmhouse in the picturesque mountainous Messina region of Northern Sicily. A steep road to the entrance , but what a reward! Quiet and peaceful with beautiful views - a balcony is a must. Typical traditional bedrooms with wooden shutters at the windows, air-conditioning, fridge, and ensuite shower room. No tea or coffee facities in the room, but these weren't really missed. A lovely swimming pool with plenty of sunbeds in a perfect setting. Ample traditional Sicilian food, mainly sourced from the farm and homemade. Breakfast included, and the option of a three course evening dinner with a carafe of wine for a reasonable €25 per head. Exceptionally warm, kind, and caring host family. Thank you! 😊

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. If you want peace, tranquility, relaxation and the best homemade cooking then this for you. The location is spectacular. The pool is lovely and plenty of sun beds. You can get a train into Palermo from Messina which is 10 mins away in a car. The owners literally cannot do enough for you. I felt like one of the family and would highly recommend staying here if visiting Sicily.

First some expectations management. Th rooms are basis but nice and clean. It’s not 5 star hotel, Wi-Fi slow. However, there is a reason why I have come back many times over the last 10 years with my family, girlfriend and son and also with my parents. The host couple are the warmest people you can imagine. The food is very good and you try real local food. The pool area is great and never crowded, perhaps in august when Italians are on holiday, i don’t know. You feel welcome, it’s very relaxed, just great really. If you can live with a basis room and slow Wi-Fi. I will come back again for sure!

This place is just beyond fantastic. We visited for three nights with our two young children and cannot recommend this place more! It’s a farm where they grow everything themselves which is turned into 10 course Italian dinner for the guests. There are hens and chickens for the kids to see. A spectacular pool. The owners are so friendly and nice. We would definitely go back!

Giacamo and Cherubina are the best hosts. The room was pristine - even with such high ceilings not a cobweb in sight! The balcony had the best views, and with ensuite and air conditioning too - I couldn't believe the price. However, the food is what you will enjoy the most - I cannot describe how good it is. The home made wine, limoncello, the freshly baked cake at breakfast, the unbelievable dinners - you read other reviews on here about how good the food is but they undersell it - phenomenal. The location is great - 5 mins drive to Santo Stefano, and effectively 1 motorway to Palermo (100 minutes away). Cannot recommend enough - grazie mille!
