The good part: Staff are very friendly although check-in seems to take a little longer than Premier Inn, the reception area and seating to relax looks fantastic and the pizzas that the staff make 24/7 are absolutely delicious. The drink & pizza prices are reasonable. Location wise is spot on, just a two minute walk from the train station and central to everything. They provide more variety of tea & coffee in rooms, such as fruit & herbal teas, and decaff coffee, this totally beats any other budget hotel. Bad points: This is a cashless hotel & this is something i'm firmly against for a variety of reasons they lost £200 in sales due to this from myself & friends. The pillows are rock hard and kept waking up with a sore neck, the beds are also uncomfortable and feels like your sleeping on the floor. The noise from housekeeping is absolutely atrocious all you hear from several floors above and below, are the staff dragging large heavy trollies around and this goes on from 11am to 4pm if you need to sleep during the day forget it. The toilets smell of sewage & urine so sometimes you return back to your room and it stinks. There is also construction work ongoing Monday-Friday until Nov 2022 yet the prices are still very high. The cooling systems seem to work fine for an hour or so but then quickly the room becomes stuffy and warm, due to the location having the window open is very noisy especially at weekends.

Katy und all ihre Kollegen arbeiten sehr hart, um Ihren Aufenthalt komfortabel und angenehm zu machen, nichts ist zu viel Problem. Wir bleiben in Zimmern mit Küchenzeile, da ich einfache Mahlzeiten für den Tag machen kann, an dem mein Mann von der Arbeit zurückkommt, was nur 10 Minuten Fahrt der Hauptgrund, warum wir hier bleiben. Alle Zimmer haben Kettles Kühlschränke Mikrowelle und Kleiderschrank, IST DIE IN EINEM ANDEREN HOTEL!! Es macht unsere lange Aufenthalte viel erschwinglicher, und es gibt auch kostenfreie Parkplätze im sehr großen Autopark. Das Hotel ist über 3 Gebäude verteilt, so viel Auswahl in verschiedenen Zimmern und Preisen. Immer saubere Linen, fluffige Handtücher usw., einige Betten sind anders als andere, so bevor Sie negative Bewertungen schreiben können Ring und geben Sie Ihre Vorliebe von dem, was Sie erwarten und Katy und ihr Team wird dort sehr besten, um Sie zu beherbergen. Der Busstopp ist direkt außerhalb des Hotels auf beiden Seiten der Straße und es dauert etwa 20 bis 25 Minuten zu Fuß bis zum Stadtbusstopp in verschiedenen Orten und auch direkt außerhalb des Bahnhofs, extrem bequem, wenn Sie mit Gepäck reisen. Es gibt Fans und Heizung in allen Zimmern und Eisen und Eisenblätter in einigen Zimmern, wenn Sie eine brauchen, wird es in Ihr Zimmer gebracht. die zweite, die ich incheckte, hat ein sehr warmes Willkommen von Safia und Prachi, was mich sehr glücklich und klar, dass die Mitarbeiter kümmern sich um ihre Jobs, obwohl die Mitarbeiter, wo polit das Essen bei mehreren Gelegenheiten während meines Aufenthalts unterkocht wurde die auch Erbrechen hatte, persönlich denke ich, die Manager sollten mehr auf die Lebensmittelqualität.

Incredibly disappointed with my stay. Room was hot and smelt very strongly of Indian takeaway on arrival. Bedding had blood on it. Bedhead in poor repair. Bathroom door did not close. Outer window was impossible to close due to the position of the television set and the inner window frame. Shower clearly cleaned but smelt very musty. Room 205 is next door to the linen room. Staff used this room loudly after midnight at 3 a.m. and 5 a.m. talking, banging the door repeatedly, and shaking sheets out. This woke me up multiple times, and I did not sleep well. There were no hairdryers available, I had to go out and buy one. The lift did not work. My card to enter the building stopped working during my stay and needed changing, which was another inconvenience. None of this is the fault of the staff who were very pleasant. Perfect location with cafes and shops nearby, just a shame that the place isn't well maintained. There's bog standard and then there's this.

Sie haben uns auf die Etage hochgezogen, 6C, um das Lärmproblem zu bedrohen, aber als andere Gäste in 6B gingen, war es möglich, den Fernseher, das Gespräch, die Etage, alles zu hören! Wenn Sie also jemanden sind, der Ruhe und ein wenig Schweigen braucht, um zu arbeiten, suchen Sie einen anderen Ort. P-S: Fernseher ist nicht intelligent und hat kaum Kanaloptionen, die Waschmaschine funktionierte nicht. Ich glaube, dass sie mit 100 Pfund pro Tag diese Dinge verbessern könnten!

A great night sleep in a comfy bed, clean rooms and good sized bathrooms, good variety of breakfast options. Always a pleasant experience being greeted by Lisa, Daniel and Angie when I drop by for the weekends to meet up with friends in Reading and nearby.

Schönes Hotel. Service und Personal ausgezeichnet. Obwohl das Hotel in einem gewerblichen Bereich ist, ist es direkt neben der Winnash Triangle Station ( 5 min Fuß) wo für £4 off Spitzenreisekarte, können Sie die 6-minütige Reise nach Reading reisen. Der Bahnhof befindet sich im Zentrum von Reading High Street. Es empfiehlt Spa und Behandlungen. Großer Aufenthalt.

We stayed at the Great House to celebrate a wedding anniversary and overall the hotel didn't disappoint. Check in was easy and our room was ready earlier than expected which is always a bonus. Our room was beautifully decorated with lovely touches such as pots of sweets, free water and some lovely classic touches such as the old phone. We had a river view room which is a bit of a stretch as you have to see over some rooftop vents to see it but that cant be helped and was very nice. The room was absolutely spotless and the bathroom in particular is very high spec which you would expect in a boutique hotel like this. The bathroom was incredibly hot but not a problem at all and a fan had been provided if it was or if the main room became too hot. We were woken up by a fire alarm which went on for about 15 seconds at about 9am and certainly was a bit of a shock and incredibly loud (which is a good thing in an alarm!) but wasn't ideal. The staff didn't mention anything but an apology would have been nice but we didn't raise it so maybe they weren't aware of the problem. The only other problem which we did raise was the service in the Coppa Club which is where breakfast is served. We ate there twice during our stay and both times encountered issues with service. We wouldn't have returned but felt obliged as Breakfast was included. Considering how lovely the hotel is and the service provided is superb it is a shame it is slightly tarnished by the next door restaurant. Overall would definitely recommend staying here and certainly didn't see any of the parties that some people complain about. Hopefully will be back soon.
