We just returned home from Maldives with most pleasant memories of this little gorgeous hotel on Rashdoo island, of its incredibly kind personal (Uci, Lia, Coco and others), our perfect guide Maria and of course food that was suitable for each one of us. Me, my 7 yrs old daughter and my mother stayed here for eight nights and we loved it! Bikini beach is just two minutes away from the hotel. We had many trips organized with boat: too see turtles, mantas, we even went fishing ... we surely want to go back!

The entire trip was amazing! The moment we arrived on Rashdoo we habe been greeted by Mariquella who spoke perfect english and explained us everything. We our travel agent, Karan, we planed the whole trip. We opted for a room with ocen view and access! It was just amazing and it had air condition. The food and drinks: amazing! The activities perfect! Snorkeling at the sand bank, night fishing, romantic (brithday) dinner on the beach, three points snorkeling: everything was really well planed. The locals are very friendly and welcoming! The flora and fauna ust just beautiful! At the local farmacy I was able to get my medication(that I forgot home beacause I changed the bags) without a prescription. It was a little expensive but I was glad I could just get it! The Restaurant personell was very respectful and hard working, friendly and welcoming! Greetings to you Uchi, Ayu and the rest! Big hugs from Alexandra and Ovi Mare! I miss the garlic paratha that I had every single day! When I had to leave the Island and fly home, I really wanted to just stay there and never come back!

We had the best stay in Shallow Lagoon. For sure this is a best guesthouse in whole Rasdhoo. Why? Because hospitality, kindness and smile from everyone in the staff is exceptional. We arrived to a very warm welcome from the manager and Maria. Our rooms were not in the main complex but overlooking the sea. It was peaceful and relaxing and felt very safe. Although we had a very short walk to the main building for our breakfast and dinner, it was well worth it. The breakfast provided a wide range for all tastes, tea and coffee freely available. The waiting staff were extremely helpful and attentive. They took the trouble to remember our names and always greeted us with a smile. The excursions were very well organised. We can recommend the visit to picnic island and sandbank where an excellent lunch was provided and the snorkelling trip which was superb. Abdul who accompanied us on trips was very thoughtful and fun. There was always somebody available should you need help or assistance. Maria worked to ensure our stay was memorable, relaxing and everything we hoped it would be. Thank you from The Three English Ladies

Péssimo restaurante, comida horrível, demorada. Peixe no óleo requentado, pouca batata frita. Coquetel de atum é salada de pepino com cenoura e atum em lata. Não tem gosto de atum. Sopa de frutos do mar é peixe no caldo ralo. Não recomendo! Horrível. O café alimente é o melhor da ilha!

We stayed for a week and i would have stayed longer! We arranged the pack with included activities. And it’s a totally must! They picked us up at the harbour and took our luggage to the hotel even if the hotel is pretty close. They even helped us with everything the day we left. Ideal location on the island, and ideal if you wanna stay at a local island. The rooms are spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Buffet with many local options, really nice to enjoy your stay as a real maldivian. Bikini Beach is very close to the hotel, and if you stay in the platform area with views, you're literally right there. The activities were top-notch, a delight, and I'd say they're essential if you want to enjoy the surroundings. Snorkeling and diving are simply AMAZING. And of course, last but not least, the service was unbeatable from the entire team, especially Maria, who was always attentive and made us feel at home. We really had a wonderful week that will always remember, hope to be back!

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like family – always smiling, welcoming, and ready to help with anything we needed. The activities were absolutely unforgettable. We went snorkeling, swam with turtles, and even had the chance to feed the fish during one of our excursions. The underwater world here is simply breathtaking, with crystal-clear waters and an abundance of marine life. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced diver, there’s something for everyone. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and has a relaxing island vibe. Our room was well-maintained, and everything was set up for a peaceful and enjoyable stay. The food was also great, with fresh and delicious options every day. Overall, our stay at Shallow Lagoon was pure perfection. If you’re looking for an authentic Maldivian experience with top-notch hospitality and amazing excursions, this is the place to be. Highly recommended!
