Welcome to our rustic 3 bed/2 bath home near Palo Duro Canyon! Only an 8 min drive to the Canyon, Sleeps 12 people, and pets are allowed! Fully equipped kitchen, and laundry room. Game room with ping-pong and Foosball tables! Don’t judge a book by its cover! While the exterior of this home needs attention, inside the home is tidy and thoughtfully decorated. The beds were super comfortable and bathrooms, clean and stocked with clean towels. We appreciated the large open space to accommodate our large family. The game room was fun although the the games could use some updating. Please note that the den area is sunken, so there are two steps to navigate up to the kitchen, bedrooms, and bathroom. There are also two larger steps to get to the game room, laundry room, bedroom and second bathroom. Check in procedure was super easy and we appreciated all of the Extra parking available. The home is easy to find and is right next to an event center. It was the perfect place to stay overnight after seeing the musical Texas!

Don't Judge a Book by its Cover
When we drove up we thought oh no. House looked in bad need of outside makeup. BUT!! things changed when we opened the door. Home was very clean, and has lots of character. Lots of unusal antique pieces, amenities were great. Nice game room but we did not have time to enjoy the ping pong or or other games. We enjoyed our stay.

Great getaway near Palo Duro Canyon
This house was great for a small family holiday! Its location close to Palo Duro was perfect for our family. Although the house could use a little bit of cosmetic updates, we didn’t mind as we spent time playing in the game room, hiking the canyon, and spending time together. The house met all of our needs (and more)!

Rough Rustic
Not a bad house, if improvements were made. The home’s furnishings are nice, but the house was not clean by any means. Kitchen lacks a lot of useful items, including a microwave. Refrigerator was in rough shape and dirty, cabinets were dirty and not organized at all. Every floor in the house was dirty, with no broom to be found. The back door is not stable at all. The whole door jam is completely broken and could easily be pushed open. Could not find any towels or rags in the kitchen. Had to get some from the bathroom. I was told to wash the sheets before we left, but could not find any laundry detergent. The cleaning person definitely needs to be fired.
