Travelodge Hotel - Ramsgate Seafront

Jordan and another younger lad on the bar when we stayed were amazing. Jordan moved our booking to a nicer room on check in and all we did was say hello and be friendly along with Jordan doing the same. Younger generations should take note because in the hospitality industry customer service is key and they have bundles of it, polite and friendly, room amazing too! Thanks

Room was large and clean .Location was central for all we wanted . Parking was easy in multi story across road and car was locked in over night - we could even see it from our window . Only complaint was that although there was a balcony in our room door was kept locked for healrth and safty- would have been nice to go oiut there

I requested a higher floored room as I know that Ramsgate Travelodge is noisy because of the road but I was put on the first floor where you can practically touch the traffic as the road is so close. I got no sleep at all because of the noise outside of the hotel and inside the hotel from the floors above and the floor below and the door slamming from a service room next to me despite me having the "sssh" sign on the door. I booked an accessible double room but it was made up as two singles, so had to wait for it to be remade. The panel in the bathroom was still gaffer taped up and the light above the desk was still flashing non-stop when switched on, these two problems were there nearly two years ago when I stayed in that same room, I would have thought in that time they could have fixed a bulb. The shower hose in the bathroom was leaking near the top and my desk fan was broken, the front panel was not attached, leaving the blades exposed and the blades themselves when turning rubbed against the metal back and made a terrible noise, I took this to reception and asked for a new one, a new one was provided but quite a few hours later, meaning the room was very hot due to the fact I had to have the window shut to try and block out some of the noise. I've stayed at this particular Travelodge more than 20 times and I normally leave a good review but sadly this time I did not feel that my custom was appreciated.The price of the room was not cheap and even the early check in and late check out charge has been increased (not quite sure how this can be justified,after all you're not getting any extra time) I visit Ramsgate to remember a friend of mine and to repeat the things we used to do together over the years that we visited, but sadly this time I don't leave with any fond memories.

Would not recommend at all I myself very disappointed and family members as said stayed 3 days should have been a family get together and definitely was not that

Just got back from a few nights at this hotel and I’ve got to say, I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were incredibly friendly very welcoming and always happy to help with directions or local tips The check in was smooth and they even let us check in a bit early, which was a nice touch The room was spotless, and I really appreciated the little things comfy pillows, and solid Wi-Fi It was quiet at night, too, which made for a good sleep after a long All in all, would definitely stay again

Staff friendly and polite. Extremely helpful especially David the night front of house staff. Extremely helpful and made our stay enjoyable. We can't wait to return with our other friends. Great location. Parking reasonably priced across road. Rooms spacious and Extremely clean. Bar clean and priced well. Breakfast great choice and staff again Extremely helpful and polite. Great atmosphere and loads amenities close and beach 10 min walk roughly. Overall exceptional stay. Thank you.
