Baie Mooar House, Boutique B&B

Location okay but better to have own transport than rely on public transport and walk from the bus station in the rain .There are no taxis.. The room was very comfortable one double bed and one small single bed, small ensuite. Nice view from the dormer window , Breakfast adequate , would have liked more variety , pastries, fresh fruit etc. The property is over four floors , there is no lift and our room was on the top floor , not a problem except that we should have been advised of this on line as my companion had had a foot injury and it was painful for her climbing the stairs. We asked for ice for her foot and were told there was no ice available. I walked to the co op in Ramsay only 1km away to buy ice There was no wifi in our room , not very important as we were on holiday but it would have save roaming costs if we had been able to contact our families from the room instead of walking down four flights of stairs . Hosts were amenable and pleasant.

Great place to stay for our time in Ramsey. The breakfast was fantastic with several options for those with specific needs or those that like variety. Jenny was an excellent host. She gave us recommendations on hiking locations and sights to see during our visit. The rooms were spacious, clean and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We had a room facing the mountain and one facing the sea, both views were lovely. We would absolutely stay here again.

After being badly let down at short notice by the Ramsay Park Hotel we managed to secure a booking at the Baie Mooar and what a find. Jennifer runs the hotel with her husband and they are perfect hosts. They work extremely hard but always seemed to be available and attentive. Fantastic breakfast, beautiful rooms in a beautiful location with stunning views We will definitely stay there on any future visits to the Isle of Man

Lovely Victorian Guest House in Ramsey Isle of Man A very warm welcome from Jenny the host. She was so friendly and helpful We stayed in one of the largest rooms which has a sitting room bedroom and large bathroom with a very large shower Everything was clean and comfortable as was the downstairs reception area and lovely dining room The furnishings are tasteful and in keeping with the property The freshly cooked breakfast was really good. One of the best we have had with nice touches like an individual cafetière Ample on street parking in a quiet road The only possible downside which may be an issue if you have mobility problems is that the bedrooms are up quite steep stairs. Opposite the property is a lovely park and a 10 minute walk brings you to the sea front Highly recommended

Huge rooms, super views, nice location outside the main town. Generous breakfast lovely people! What more can I say - relaxing visit to the isle of man. 2 lovely cats to connect to any animals left at home 😞 If we visit the Island again we would stay here !!!

Wonderful place to stay was in the Lake View suite which is a lovely large room Jen and Simon we’re welcome and friendly the breakfast was fantastic with plenty of choices although couldn’t resist opting for the full Manx great location as a base for any activity or jus a stroll into Ramsey for a drink would highly recommend looking forward to returning soon
