We returned to Devigarh after 18 years with our teenagers, having come here on our honeymoon. The hotel is still magical and stunning. It is set up in a hill away from Udaipur and is an oasis of calm and luxury. The hotel is a beautifully restored Fort Palace. The rooms were gorgeous and we had a special Christmas Eve dinner. The food and service for lunch and dinner were amazing. You can eat in the main restaurants or have special dinner organised in part of the hotel just for you. The hotel can organise local walking tour of the village nearby and temples which we highly recommend and our guide Dinesh was great. The pool area is a great place to relax and we spent a day just at the hotel after 2 weeks of touring. We look forward to coming back again for our third visit soon!

We stayed here for two nights. The staff is welcoming and courteous. The room and hotel was very clean. The reception area, restaurant and the corridors are beautifully maintained. The breakfast was very tasty and had enough variety. It was included in our stay. We found the dinner rates on the higher side so we preferred having it somewhere else. The pool is open and was used by our kids (even though it was 20 degrees C outside). The room had room heated as well. It’s just 4kms from the Kumbhalgarh fort. The views from the room was breathtaking. I’ll definitely come again. I do have one suggestion for the management though ~ please replace the table tennis table. It’s really in very bad shape and needs a net too! Please note: there is some construction activity going on in this hotel but it’s so nicely managed that it doesn’t trouble you at all.

Walkable to temple. Neat clean spacious room and toilet. Friendly and helpful staff. Overall good stay, would recommend if u want something walkable to temple and market.
