The dimensions of the shower were 60x80 and this is not understandable. I didn't appreciate the limited availability of deck chairs in the pool, in fact it happened to sunbathe lying on the lawn and this is not pleasant in a 4 star structure."

"Wir haben hier 5 Nachte inklusive der Silvesternacht verbracht. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr herzlich - speziell auch beim Frühstück - auch sehr kinderfreundlich. Das Frühstück ist wunderbar - eine solche Vielfalt und Details - einfach schön und lecker! Wir hatten die Panorama-Suite mit Terrasse (hier waren Liegestühle ganz praktisch) Der Ausblick ist wirklich toll - das Zimmer ist gut, anstatt den Metallstühlen im Wohnraum - wären andere Stühle zu empfehlen (auch wegen der Lautstärke) ... das Schlafzimmer war sehr geräumig, das Bett wunderbar und das Bad - war für italienische Verhältnisse sehr gut. Die kleine Küche im Zimmer war fur uns Goldwert - wir konnten uns auch mal etwas kleines zu essen kochen. Es gibt zwei Wasser zur Begrüßung ... Der Ausblick ist generell fantastisch - mit dem Pool (leider im Winter nicht nutzbar) alles sehr einzigartig. Die Silvesternacht war sehr gut - für 130 Euro pro Person nicht günstig - aber es gab eine gute Auswahl an speisen und auch an Getränken. Daher vollkommen ok. Es war auch ein DJ da ... also gab es auch ein wenig Party! Negativ: die Klimaanlage - super laut ... die Hauptanlage auf dem Dach .. ging zum Glück gegen 23 Uhr aus und startete dann morgens gegen 7 Uhr wieder! Das war ein wenig nervig ... aber sonst keine Negativpunkte! Der TV (eine Liste der Sender - stimmte nicht) und die ausländischen Programme waren nicht vorhanden (falls jemand Fernsehen schauen möchte). Wir können dieses Haus auf jeden Fall empfehlen."

"Exceptional Ragusa Experience! This turned out to be one of our most memorable and enjoyable stays during our 2-week trip around Sicily. The property is in a beautifully maintained historical family Palazzo. The lovely historical furniture and artifacts contribute to the unique accommodations. Our room was an upgraded suite which was very comfortable, notable, and spacious. The hosts Rafaella and Giovanni are extremely warm and hospitable. Rafaella bakes many of the delicious Sicilian morning pastries and desserts and we enjoyed learning about Ragusa's history from both of them. The Palazzo has been the site of many notable meetings throughout the history of Ragusa as Rafaella's great grandfather held a high position in Ragusa's early leadership. The Palazzo has been nicely renovated to receive guests while maintaining many of the original features (i.e. original floor tiles lifted for utility work then replaced). The main floor of the palazzo is up a beautiful staircase, but a lift is also available. The location is superb for walking to the main sites of Ragusa and there are many restaurants nearby. HIGHLY recommended for a unique experience in Sicily."

"The minute I went into my room you could smell the mould. The bathroom needs either a deep clean or a total Reno, Carpets in the hallways were faded and buckled - major trip hazard. Although the reception area looked nice that didn’t flow through to the rooms. Service in the restaurant was abysmal - 2 hrs to put together a plate of cold meat & cheese, did not appear to have enough staff in the kitchen. All I could see was one poor man who was ran ragged. Unless they did a major revamp I would not stay here again"

"The location is excellent, ideally situated at in the heard of the old town. The staff here was great. The room (we stayed in a Superior Double Room) was a bit smaller and plainer than we were expecting. While it had a balcony, we never used it, because the highlight of the property was the terrace, which we almost always had entirely to ourselves (except at breakfast time). We loved getting their happy hour on the roof and enjoying breakfast up there (and sunsets!) as well. The rooftop was definitely the highlight. For us, this was a four star B&B with three star rooms and a five star terrace - which, considering the prices were extremely reasonable, would be pretty hard to be. We would definitely stay here again for the price."
