"Our stay at Bamboo Villas in Tulemar was absolute perfection from start to finish! The villas themselves are stunning, offering the perfect blend of luxury, privacy, and breathtaking tropical views. What made this stay truly magical was the abundance of wildlife right at our doorstep. We loved watching the sloths, in particular, Bambi, hanging out in the trees right by our private pool! We even had another sloth hang out right in front of our villa, macaws nesting just outside our door, and the monkeys would visit us right around dinner time. What truly elevated our vacation from great to unforgettable, however, was the incredible staff. Our concierge, Chris, was spectacular. He took care of every single detail with seamless professionalism and made us feel entirely at home. He surprised us with thoughtful touches, treats, and even brought us fresh coconut milk to the beach. The housekeeping team, Brian and Yerlin, kept our villa absolutely immaculate throughout our stay, even taking care of our laundry. Andrey from maintenance kept our villa looking great. The teamwork at Tulemar is unmatched. This phenomenal crew combined with the breathtaking nature made our Costa Rican getaway truly special. We cannot recommend Bamboo Villas highly enough and are already dreaming of our next return!"

"The room was on the 4th floor of the highest building, so the view was beautiful, both of the National Park and the ocean. The park entrance is a 4-minute walk away, so the location is excellent. The beach is about 8 minutes' walk away, as is an area with bars and restaurants. The breakfast is good, although the service was the same both days we stayed. A luggage transport service is always available via golf cart, given the significant vertical displacements from the parking lot and the buildings. There was only one problem: After the first 20 minutes in the pool, the white shirts used to avoid applying sunscreen and protect ourselves from the sun turned yellow. I reported the problem to reception, and the next day a company came and cleaned both pools several times. In my opinion, the problem is structural, and simply reporting it to a few guests isn't enough to solve the problem, because the water doesn't move, as if the purification system were inadequate."
