On the shore of the Firth of Forth, Queensferry is situated ten miles to the north of Edinburgh. So the Premier Inn Hotel Edinburgh (South Queensferry) is the ideal base for venturing into Scotland's first city, or for exploring the majestic landscape of the Lothians. Queensferry has some puzzling traditions, like the procession of the Burry Man and the annual dip in the Firth of Forth. But there are plenty of other things to do, such as a visit to the Georgian splendour of Hopetoun House or Dundas Castle. There are lots of business venues and good transport links. Once you're done for the day, come back to great food at our Brewers Fayre restaurant and a lovely comfy bed.

Great alternative hotel for someone traveling in Edinburgh, the 43 bus take you straight from city center to the hotel.
There's McDonalds and M&S Food Hall near the hotel.

As always never a problem with a Premier Inn. Clean, tidy and a place to sleep. Plus your normal friendly staff. Great access to the tram system into the city. Just a short walk away .Brewers Fayre is next door. If you need it. As for the sea view. Wow.

Spoke with Carrie on reception she was fantistic and helped with any questions we had Room was clean and wee presented. Food was great Very friendly hotel and would stay again.absolute lovely lady and an absolute pleasure to deal with 🤗 no really sure what else to say 😳 the 200 character review is a bit much

Carnè at the reception was absolutely amazing!! Helped us with travel and how to get places, had a good laugh with us and extremely helpful. We Absolutely loved her!! Beds were comfy and good to have a McDonald’s and shop right next door. Recommend coming here 😊

Lady at reception Tari was welcoming and really helpful, helped us when we had difficulties finding a taxi. Rooms were comfy and clean and staff at reception were always really polite and helpful whenever needed, would stay again………………..

There were four of us (two couples) and we booked two rooms for a one-night stay while visiting Edinburgh. Unfortunately, this Premier Inn was a real letdown compared to others we’ve stayed at. We arrived 10 minutes before check-in time and were told we couldn’t check in early without being charged, something we’ve never encountered at any other Premier Inn. So we waited in the lobby, which didn’t even have enough seating for all four of us. Our room itself was dusty, the curtains looked like they hadn’t been washed in ages, and the bathroom was in the same dusty state. Worst of all, there was only one shower towel for me and my partner to share. The only other towels provided were a hand towel and a face cloth. We checked the usual storage spots, but there were no extras to be found.
