We had a king suite, meaning a full pull out sofa and a large room. Corner room on the third floor (which is called the second floor here). The ground floor is the tourist center and you simply take the elevator or stairs up one floor to reception. Friendly reception staff and house keeper. Amazing views of the Musee du Fort, Chateau Frontenac, Place d’Armes park across the street, and Dufferin Terrace. Street performers out front, but they were done by 9:00 pm. We really enjoyed them. Comfy bed, including the cot we asked for. QUIET hotel. Good Wi-Fi and adequate outlets. We controlled the heat, and figured it out fairly easily. Nice rainfall shower along with a handheld function if you want it…..water got HOT just for a minute or two but it was gradual, and I just waited it out. TV was not working at all, but I just pushed all the buttons until the cable started working…lol. We had a nice refrigerator…no microwave but they have one if you ask. The room and hotel have really been updated with stylish decor, but you still get the 1810 feel of the building. Location simply can’t be beat….we did the double decker bus tour which leaves right out front. We also did the underground excavation tour underneath the Dufferin Terrace, a two minute walk. And Starbucks in the Chateau Frontenac is a one minute walk. (We also walked beyond the Chateau at dusk up to the highest point in Old Quebec, to see the AMAZING view. It took five minutes to walk there). Parking underneath City Hall is a seven minute walk back to the hotel. I give Manoir Morgan 4.5 bubbles….the only little things that knock it down a little bit are a lack of actual blackout curtains (although the shades are not bad), and the price was a bit steep ($250 on a Sunday and Monday). Also the ceiling lights were VERY bright, while the lamps were dim. Need one really good lamp. But high praise for this gem.

Wonderful stay - the property is as charming as it is convenient. We had the studio with kitchen on the ground floor. The back door opened right to our private parking space so it was really easy to get around. Everything was spotless and well appointed. We checked out the terrace but of course it was cold and covered in snow. It’s sure to be wonderful during warmer months. The guest portal is very helpful. This was our first visit to Quebec City and our son’s first visit out of the US - this made a terrific first impression! There are restaurants and shops up and down the street. We would definitely book again in the future. Thanks especially to Jade, who was consistently patient with my questions!

Hier für 3 Nächte während des Besuchs altes Quebec. Wenn Sie eine einfache 10-minütige Fahrt in altes Quebec beherrschen können, ist dieser Ort ideal gelegen. In einer ruhigen, schönen, sauberen Nachbarschaft hat es große Einrichtungen zu handhaben. Es gibt Gasstation, Tims und lokalen Geschäft in der Nähe, und viele große Restaurants in der Nähe. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und sauber und ruhig ....I hatte den Eindruck, wir waren die einzigen dort! Unterhalb ....Die Mitarbeiter waren etwas wichtig bei der Rezeption, keine Informationen über Spa, Cafe etc., hier sind Ihre Schlüssel, hier schreiben. Wir haben in dem, was scheint eine neue Ergänzung zum Hotel zu sein, und der Aufzug kann nur als die langsamste in Kanada beschrieben werden, ich bekomme es, es ist ein behinderter bedienen freundlich, aber bereit zu warten! Die Treppen sind keine Option, wenn Sie schwere Taschen haben.

Die umliegende Straße ist gebaut und es gibt eine Tür, die sieben und acht ist. Aber das Hotel ist sehr gut, sauber und komfortabel, es kann auch kostenlos schwimmen und warm sein. Die spezielle Aufstiegsschacht im Halbgeschoss ist zu schlecht, eine Tür zu öffnen und Glück zu öffnen.

Arriving at Loulou's is like coming home. André greets us with his boisterous ”Bonjour,” and we are immediately into a lively conversation. We regularly stop at Loulou's to spend a day in Old Quebec: buskers, crêpes, the boardwalk... Charny itself is such a find example of an old Quebec village, just walking those streets is fun (or we go over to view the falls). I particularly like the enormity of the old church.

Es wäre besser gewesen, wenn die Eltern ihre Kinder überwachten, als sie in der Linie schneiden und einen Mist auf der Waffelstation machen. Ein wenig preiswert, aber so waren die meisten Orte in der Nacht, die wir geblieben haben.
