Let me start by saying that this hotel is never in a million years a 5 star hotel, this is a 3.5 star at best! Don't be fooled by the nice pool area because this is the only part of this hotel that is nice and maybe the lobby but everything else is terrible including the hygiene and the quality of food! I would also like say that I am not one of these people that come online and complain all the time as I am very easy to please, I have never written a review in my life until now which lets you know how bad this place was! Please see below: Restaurant Issues: The restaurant was dark and dingy with tinted windows and dirty curtains. The tables were too high for the chairs, which caused discomfort, especially for my children. The booths had ripped and poorly maintained leather covers. Upon entering the restaurant, there was no one to greet us or direct us to a table. Tables were not cleaned properly, and dirty plates with leftover food were left unattended, attracting flies. If we chose to sit outside, the chairs had old bird droppings and were also in poor condition. There were no clean tables when we arrived. We were expected to dress our own table with utensils from a cart left in the middle of the floor. Due to understaffing, only one staff member was managing two stations, causing food shortages and long queues (up to 25 minutes). Glass stations were frequently empty, and when refilled, the glasses were often dirty, requiring us to clean them ourselves. Plates were chipped, often dirty, and we had to wipe them down with wet wipes or tissues. At the steak station, despite paying for an all-inclusive holiday, I was only allowed one piece of meat despite being with a family of 5. My family suffered from diarrhea after eating at the restaurant, and I experienced vomiting and food poisoning symptoms. The cereal station frequently ran out of milk and cereal. On three separate occasions, my daughter was told to get milk from the coffee machine, which dispensed a dark brown liquid. The food selection for children was poor, with no pizza, burgers, or chips, and the pasta station offered dried-out pasta with tasteless tomato sauce. Bird droppings on the walls had not been cleaned for months. Fruit and pastries were often not refilled, and the pastries were stale and rock-hard. A large portion of the staff did not speak English, making communication difficult. There was an infestation of flies due to food not being cleared and dirty tables. Snack Bar: The snack bar had very limited opening times and was only staffed by one person, resulting in long queues and slow service. Often, the sauces ran out, and it took a long time for them to be restocked. Bar: While the bar was reasonably staffed, the quality of the drinks was subpar. The juice was watered down, and the alcohol caused stomach aches. We were frequently served drinks in cracked and chipped plastic cups.
