Wir haben nicht herausgefunden woher der Anspruch stammt, das Hotel Pushkar Palace.zu nennen. Die ganze Anlage macht einen abgerockten, sehr in die Jahre gekommenen und lieblos geführten Eindruck. Die Zimmer sind sauber, unser Zimmer machte sogar einen frisch gestrichenen Eindruck - es war allerdings auch so winzig klein und mit Möbeln zugestellt, das *** kaum aneinander vorbei kam. So sauber das Zimmer war, so siffig waren die bereitgestellten Kaffeetassen - siehe Foto. Wir haben uns vorgestellt, wie der Putzlappen mal eben durch die Tasse gewandert ist … Das Übelste waren allerdings die Kellner. Wir haben selten so unfreundliche Menschen in Indien getroffen. Beim Abendessen wurden die Teller förmlich auf den Tisch geschmissen, das Besteck flog hinterher, die Bestellung wurde mürrisch aufgenommen und das Essen war dann auch noch grottenschlecht, nahezu geschmacklos und lauwarm. Das hätte jede Kantine besser hinbekommen. Das Hotel hat eine erstklassige Lage mit einer tollen Terrasse. *** könnte daraus richtig was machen. Leider hat das Management daran offensichtlich kein Interesse. Lieblos aneinander gestellte Tische, keine Auflagen auf den Stühlen, kein Sonnenschutz, kein bisschen Deko, alles schmuddelig und abgewohnt.

Celebrated a 60th Birthday Breakfast on the terrace. We were made to feel very welcome, the service was outstanding and the food was excellent. The area was spotlessly clean and all the staff were very attentive. It was exceptional value for money and very peaceful and beautiful

BEWARE THIEVES! My iPad was stolen from my room on 11/11/2024. The staff did nothing to investigate and instead denied, denied, denied. I filed a report with the police, I spoke to the General Manager of the hotel but received zero follow-up. BEWARE!

Great location. Rooms not bad but Airconditioning sounds like a 747. Buffet food average at best. Staff, well, just miserable. Attitudes range from gloomy to outright rude. Worst staff vibe in any place I've stayed in 24 years of visiting India. Would not stay again.

Excellent location, excellent good. We had a wonderful stay. I would have given it 5 stars but it falls just for a few things: 1. We booked two rooms, but just one room was provided with water and telling them to provide more water got no results. The entire hotel staff showed up at the departure time expecting tips. The fridges in both the rooms were not cooling and were replaced soon but such things should be checked in advance. Overall I do recommend this hotel. You will be greeted with a smile and stay at the very best location right at the lake. Must eat at their open-air restaurant as the food and view are both amazing... I read in a review that the temple sounds will disturb the guests, but I did not experience that at all. What did disturb my early morning sleep was the staff talking loudly right outside my window...

What a great hotel in a perfect location in the middle of Pushkar. Well priced and really nice heritage rooms. Fantastic service all round from the quick check in, to the restaurant and room cleaning. A short walk to all the market shops and restaurants with the bustle of a true Indian bazaar. The views from the hotel terraces in front of the rooms are great looking across the lake. The new lower terrace in front of the restaurant also had beautiful tables and sun galore. It’s also very pretty at night. The recent upgrades since our last visit have made this an even better place to stay.
