Rincón Escondido B&B

Excellent place to stay away from the noise of the main area but walking distance. Breakfast was amazing. The pool although small was nice to cool off and refresh. Pablo was very friendly and helpful. Our room was upstairs and clean and tidy. Really loved this place.

This is a truly outstanding B&B. The owners are hospitable and extremely helpful. The breakfast is custom made and delicious. The room is very comfortable and the amenities are excellent. However, what makes the place truly exceptional is the caring attitude of the owners. They help in every way that they can!

All bed and breakfast should be like this! What a fantastic stay. 5/5 Service. Pablo is super friendly and inviting. He gives you a run down of how to best visit the falls. He serves an excellent breakfast starting at 7am. 5/5 The space. The room is super comfortable with a comfy bed, hot water. There is a nice "glass house" to sit outside and enjoy the nice evenings. A pleasantly maintained pool is available as well. 5/5 The location. When we showed up my husband was like, "Why couldn't you book us in town instead the outskirts." After two days he was like, it's nice being able to only hear birds instead of busses all day. Yep. A 10 minute walk and you are in town! I'd HIGHLY suggest staying here. I booked 2 nights here and 4 in Foz - I was kicking myself for not staying here another night and one less in noisy, big Foz.

This BnB is located in a secluded, hidden corner of the town and about a 15 to 20 minute walk to “downtown”. Pablo met us when we arrived and spent some time giving us information about the area, providing advice regarding the best way to visit the national park and arranging transportation for the next day. We did not prebook anything as it was so much cheaper to pay in ARS on site. The BnB is located down a side street, and our taxi driver from the airport had difficulty finding its location. The entire complex is surrounded by a wall with a gate to which we were given a code. Our room was located in the main building, there is a side building, an old warehouse, that was been converted to additional rooms. I believe there are a total of 7 rooms available. Our room was comfortable, but it could have used some TLC as the bathroom area was somewhat moldy. It was very warm during our three night stay and the air conditioner went out twice. Both times, Pablo responded quickly to our calls for help to rectify the situation. After finding a huge roach in our room, we ensured our suitcases were not stored on the floor. Breakfast was simple, fruit, rolls and jam. Eggs were only offered two out of the three mornings we were here. The garden was very pleasant and we awoke each morning to the sound of birds. The grounds also had a small pool which we did not use – I found the water was a bit too murky for my liking. There was also an “honour bar” stocked with beer and soft drinks along with a fridge that can be used by guests. Although overall our stay was pleasant enough, if I ever return to this area, I would stay elsewhere.

Highly recommend this beautiful B&B if you want to visit the falls. Beautiful rooms & lovely breakfast! Pablo is a fantastic host. We were able to check in early & Pablo was happy to give us information about the area & the falls. He even arranged taxis & booked a restaurant for us for our last evening. The rooms are individually appointed and very comfortable. Pablo and his little team gave me the best breakfast I received in Argentina. Fresh fruits and newly baked bread with scrambled eggs made to order. He also recommended an excellent restaurant. it was a 15 minute walk but well worth it and downhill all the way back. I would have really liked to stay on another night but my schedule meant i had to get the border crossing to the Brazilian side out of the way.
