We stayed at the Lanzarote Village for a winter break and after reading some of the negative reviews was a bit concerned especially about the food. But there is no pleasing some people. Whilst we were there the hotel reception and dining room were decorated for Christmas which was lovely. Strange when the temperature is in the 30s but nice strange. We couldn't fault the hotel. Our top floor room was spacious for two of us with a massive bed, a bath and shower and a lovely balcony overlooking the pool and beyond to the beach and sea, where we could watch the planes coming into land at the airport and the cruise liners heading in and out of Arrecife. The room key was, initially, a bit stiff but during our stay the locks were being replaced by swipe cards which made life easier. The maid did a great job in the room every day. The food was really good with lots of variety, both at breakfast and evening meal. We were only HB so can't comment on lunch. There were themed nights, Chinese, Mexican, Italian, Indian. But there were lots of other choices should you not want this. The empty dishes were constantly been refilled by the catering staff. The waiting staff cleared plates and worked nonstop to keep tables tidy. Our only issue was 2 people sitting on tables laid for 4. But the waiting staff soon laid another table for us as we had travelled to meet up with friends whom we hadn't seen since pre Covid so had a lot to catch up. The pool area was hosed down early each morning and was clean and tidy despite a beautiful, if noisy, flock of parakeets flying around and doves hoping for crumbs. The pool was deep and big enough to have a swim round. The jacuzzi was lovely. There were plenty of sun loungers available. We tend not to stay in the hotel in the evenings for the entertainment but some of the music sounded good. The hotel is well placed on the quiet edge of Puerto del Carmen which is an easy walk away. The bus stops for further afield, Arrecife, Costa Teguise or Playa Blanca are just a few minutes away and the buses are frequent and reasonably priced. Although the hotel if not right on the promenade it is only a short walk through the garden and out the gate and left. The promenade goes all the way to Arrecife passing the airport. I can't think of any negatives and we will certainly be returning next winter especially if we could request the same room.

This is our second stay here, came last January and although there has been improvements, not in all areas and cleaning standards have dropped. Firstly the good bits: Pool area and pool bar are beautiful, spacious and clean having recently been refurbished. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Communal areas clean and fresh. Location perfect. The not so good bits: We were allocated a room with disabled facilities firstly , which on the face of it seemed roomy and bright, however the shower/ wet room flooded on the first night, all into room and corridor, the lovely reception lady was helpful with towels to mop up, but the problem was lack of cleaning the plug hole was full of black hair which I had to remove in order to solve the problem.The room had no table or chairs no where to sit and have a drink or snack, no towel rail to air towels, a light in the bathroom on a sensor that went in and stayed on forever it seems. The next morning we moved rooms and the drains smelled, the plug in the bath didn’t drain away and was rusty, the hand rail on the wall was rusty, the shower curtain had seen better days and towels were threadbare. The room was cleaned once which we knew but it was a quick clean as the floor was still dusty and one of the bedsheets had a hole in it.The lampshades above the bed had an inch of dust on them I never felt clean at all , such a shame as the pool area and the rest are good .I know it’s 2 star but needs some attention and upkeep.

What a find! This modern, spacious and well equipped two-storey villa has 5 bedrooms and is a world of luxury. A 20-25 minute walk from the airport along a safe dual use cycle path / footpath, you don't need a taxi or a bus. We booked Magma Rooms for the first 2 nights of a 7 day visit, as was arriving late 10pm+ from the UK. A second night at Magma was good to explore nearby restaurants and visit the beach in the day. What can I say about the room? It had everything you needed from free-to-use safe, flat screen TV, power shower, hairdryer, fan, extra pillows and blankets. In the shared facilities there is a Nespresso machine and mini bar fridge (pay via honesty box) as well as wine glasses, bottle opener etc. They have thought of everything! After check-out we then walked back to the airport to catch the # 161 bus to Puerto del Carmen (1.40€ each).

Ich mag nicht, dass 1 Woche vorher wir anrufen und gingen, um zu fragen, ob wir das Zimmer für eins wechseln könnten, um den Strand zu sehen, und sie sagten, dass sie es uns machen würden, am gleichen Tag, wenn wir reinkommen, und dann, an diesem Tag, hatten sie kein Zimmer verfügbar und ich habe dort gebucht. Ich habe ein Zimmer auf dem Strand für eine Geburtstagsüberraschung, die ich machen wollte. Ich sah sehr schlecht von ihr aus.

I can highly recommend this clean and comfortable hotel within a short walk of the centre of Yaiza. It is worth paying the supplement for an upgraded room as it is very enjoyable to sit on your own balcony in the evening to relax and read a book or to have a drink. The hotel restaurant is, in my opinion, the best in Yaiza with excellent food and very attentive staff. The very appetising hotel buffet style breakfast is served in the courtyard and it provides a wide range of breads, pastries, cereals, fresh fruit, cheese, teas and coffees. A thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Wir waren schon sechs mal auf Lanzarote und jetzt im Jan/Feb zum ersten mal im GTP. Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Von außen hat uns das Hotel eigentlich noch nie angesprochen da es echt ein *Kasten* ist. Der Eingangsbereich ist schon sensationell mit den vielen Pflanzen und der geschmackvollen Farbgestaltung der Sitzmöbel . Das Kernstück ist der Barbereich mit einer runden Bar um die sich abends die Sitzmöbel drehen. Muss man erlebt haben! Wenn man kein AI hat: echt zivile Preise für Getränke. Rezeption: immer freundliche Mitarbeiter die sich den Wünschen der Gäste annehmen. Aus Wunsch kann ein Fahrrad in einem separaten Raum abgestellt werden. Pooltücher gegen je 10.- EURO Kaution Zimmer: sauber, ausreichend groß, bequeme Betten, Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher, Teebeutel und Kaffeepulver. Die erste Tasse Kaffee am Morgen auf dem Balkon mit Blick aufs Meer und die aufgehende Sonne - unbezahlbar- das Bad ist groß mit Walk-in Dusche und Duschgel/Shampoo sowie Conditioner im Wandspender, großer Spiegel, Föhn und Kosmetikspiegel, Handtuchwechsel täglich (es wäre ausreichend wenn nur Handtücher gewechselt werden, wenn diese auf dem Boden liegen) Vermisst haben wir Haken an der Wand um eine Jacke oder Tasche aufzuhängen. Restaurant: Büffet: mit Live-Cooking. Wir haben gut gegessen. Eine große Auswahl an Rohkost für köstliche Salate. Viel Auswahl an kalten Vorspeisen, Wechselndes Angebot: Mal Sushi, mal Tex-Mex, Themenabende wie Kanaren, Griechisch etc. Frühstück: Büffet mit allem was ein Frühstück ausmacht. Eier in verschiedener Zubereitung , Weiß- und Schwarzbrot, vorgeschnittenes Obst etc., Säfte und Sekt freundlicher und flinker Service, gibt nichts zu meckern. Pool: sehr sauber, gepflegt, gab immer eine freie Liege Animation: freundlich, unaufdringlich, abwechslungsreich. Abendunterhaltung Live Music und Shows, in der Bar ist immer was los und DER Mittelpunkt Wir können das Hotel empfehlen, würden wieder kommen.
