Wow what a lovley complex ,situated perfectly for a 1 min flat walk to the front, appartement, clean, and large ,staff fantastic everything you need ,maids came nearly everyday to offer clean towels and empty bins ,bedding every 5 days ,this was a self catering appartement on a budget and I cannot fault these appartements.lovley holiday and there was also a bar/ food pool bar and a pool perfect to relax and no sunbed wars ! Excellent

We are here now was getting a bit worried after reading the review about sitting up all night because of how dirty the apartment was. Well what can I say this place is spotless our apartment is a studio apartment, it is basic but does everything we need and spotless. The beds are very comfortable and fresh linen. We are experiencing a calima at the minute temperature in the 30,s and very warm at night. The apartment has a ceiling fan and does to job well for sleeping at night. The pool is great a bit on the cold side but again it is spotless. No sunbed wars plenty for all anytime of the day Staff and cleaners all very helpful and friendly. We will be definitely returning so central to everything.

Well positioned close to entertainment and restaurants. Room clean and maid in every other day. Pool big enough and cleaned every morning. Plenty of sun beds and seating and a small poolside cafe. All facilities for self-catering and would definitely stay there again.

I am here right now. We landed and arrived at these apartment's at 9.40 tonight and we’re still awake because we absolutely refuse to even sit on the so called sofa, never mind sleep in the bed!!!!! When I tell you it’s filthy, it is an understatement!!!!! It’s filthy beyond anything I’ve ever seen, and the smell is repugnant!!!!! Every square inch of these apartments needs demolishing immediately because they’re not fit for purpose!!!!! We’ve been here 4 hours now, and I tell you, I’ve not unpacked and my clothes that I’m wearing absolutely stink now and I’ll bin them when I get home!! Jet2 have said that it’ll take around 3 days to get back to us, but I absolutely refuse to stay here. So, we’re sitting on 2 plastic minging chairs on the balcony waiting for daylight when we can check into another apartment, at our own cost, because Jet2 will take too long and we’re only here for a week as it is!!! If I could give these apartment 0 stars then I would, and Jet2 should remove this property from their website!!!

Just returned from our holiday. Read some of the reviews and begin to wonder what people want! Sure there are some details that could turn the Arena from a good place to an excellent place but then I don't spend my holiday picking faults. As part of our daily routine we like to watch the morning news with a cup of coffee. Unfortunately, the TV, no matter how hard I tried, did not display subtitles in English. My wife is very hard of hearing. This is, however, not the fault of the hotel. This hotel is ideally located for the hundreds of restaurants, shops and bars on the strip. For us the staff were friendly and helpful. Even the gardener said hello. I have taken some inspiration to include a section of volcanic landscape in my own little plot. Will be going again soon.

Another lovely week spent at the arena dorada in Puerto del Carmen. This is our third time staying here and we love it. Please ignore all the negative reviews on these apartments I really don't know what people expect from a self catering holiday. The rooms are standard, comfortable and clean. The pool area is spotless so is the pool. No inflatables are allowed in the pool but this is the case for all apartments and hotels in Puerto del Carmen due to a recent incident involving a child. I highly recommend staying here, and look forward to visit number 4.

Apartment and location was really good, we had D block so carrying shopping up was a real pain, if only they could provide a key for the top gate , we hired a car but there's no parking absolutely nowhere , cleaners came in every day, all staff were friendly, there's no sunbed wars, they have parrots flying around which we got to feed on the last day of our holiday ,the apartment are on a slight hill so if you have mobility issues I'd look elsewhere, overall it was a good holiday but wouldn't return as it wasn't for us .

This is 3rd time we have stayed here , but was really disappointed this time on the lack of cleaning . We only got fresh towels once in a week, room was never swept , nor moped. Bin in bathroom ,with dirty toilet roll in was never emptied. Bedding never changed , nor made. Balcony was disgusting with neighbours feeding pigeons. Pool definitely needs resurfacing. Only bonus is the location. Got fed up of having to ask for toilet roll .

I was in D5. Huge terrace with sun loungers, the apartment was spacious and cleaned everyday, there wasn’t any sunbed wars which was so lovely, obviously there are always the ones who put there towels on the beds before 10am. Pool bar is always clean, plenty of food choice and good prices. Reception very helpful. Safe in every room which I feel is a must on holiday, reading other reviews where travellers said that money went missing, if they used the safe then there would be no problem. I would return to these apartments
