Etwas abseits gelegenes Hotel an der Straße von Pisa nach Lucca. Sehr großer Park und eine alte Villa, die toll und stilgerecht eingerichtet ist. Auf viele Details wird geachtet - eigenes Farbdesign für jedes Stockwerk zum Beispiel. Die Zimmer sind in verschiedenen Designs dekoriert. Allerdings erschlägt es einen, weil Tapeten, Türen und Vorhänge alle in einem - großen, intensiven - Muster sind. Bei einem längeren Aufenthalt wäre das echt zu viel! Alles sehr komfortabel. Das Fenster war winzig - eben so, wie es früher war. Da wir uns wunderbar in dem herrlichen Park aufhalten konnten, war das kein Problem. Das Personal war freundlich und engagiert. Ein bisschen mehr Sauberkeit hätten wir uns gewünscht - die Teppichböden zeigten doch hier und da Spuren von Flecken, Getränken u.s.w.

Four of us stayed for a long weekend at this hotel and cannot over praise it. It is well located a very short distance from one of the arched entrances to the town. It is modern and well appointed and very clean. Breakfasts were superb and set us up for the day and there are complimentary aperitifs in the late afternoon. Reception staff were extremely helpful in providing information and restaurant recommendations and arranging airport transfers. We took the train to Florence (having done this journey several times before) but unfortunately it broke down and we were left stranded at a tiny un-manned station. The promised replacement bus did not materialise. We couldn’t find a local taxi or bus and in desperation telephoned the hotel who couldn’t locate a taxi either but instead sent their junior intern Stefano to collect us in his own car to return to Lucca. He was a credit to the hotel and I cannot imagine receiving such fantastic customer service in the UK. Apart from this blip, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I would highly recommend this hotel.

Das Hotel ist am Meer, das Zimmer ist klein, aber die Landschaft ist gut. Es gibt ein Beijing-Vintagehaus auf 100 m, und mein Freund Hotel (ami imei) ist teuer und nicht lecker, nicht empfohlen. Das Hotel bietet Parkplätze, 16 Euro für eine Nacht, ist direkt im öffentlichen Parkplatz gegenüber dem Hotel, es ist auch bequem.

This 18 room hotel is an absolute gem in the walled city of Lucca. A little tricky to find if not for great directions from the hotel prior to arrival. Mario (father) and Gabriel (son) run a great team of staff, all of whom are so friendly and willing to help. On our first night Gabriel booked up a restaurant for us as it was a Saturday night after detailing a number of his own personal favourites, in -of course- perfect English. We had a rental car which Mario registered for the walled city and garaged for us. The bar was absolutely gorgeous as was our room. There is a lift for those who may need it. Thoroughly recommend this amazing place. Thank you.
