I arrived late in the evening, with my 5 year old daughter, and we were taken to a horrible room. The toilet was for disabled people, and there was no explanation for why we were given this. Every time my daughter had to pee, due to the strange shape of the toilet seat, the pee would go all over the floor. I thought this was the same as all the toilets until I discovered the next day that my friends (who had paid exactly what I had paid) had normal toilets and much more pleasant rooms. I had already unpacked and went to reception to ask why this had happened. The receptionist said that it was because they didn’t know I was coming with a child…. This is despite the booking I made clearly stating there was a child and the manager herself personally taking us to the room and SEEING my child. The receptionist was defensive when I said this and offered me a room that was exactly the same but with a normal toilet. I asked for some kind of good will gesture for the inconvenience, and she called the manager to ask and this was refused. I spent a good hour repacking and then unpacking again in another room, paying more for an upgrade so that it wasn’t quite as unpleasant. The next day I saw the manager, and she didn’t have the courtesy to apologise or acknowledge the error. In fact, she was smug and rude. Her name is Barbara and because of her, I would never stay at this resort again, or recommend it to anyone else.
