Hotels in der Nähe von Casa Romei, Ferrara

Direkt gegenüber der Burg, mitten im Zentrum, gelegen. Direkt vorm Hotel kann man mit dem Auto halten, um das Gepäck ein- bzw. ausladen. Parkplatz ist dann etwas weiter weg. Unser Zimmer war sehr groß, mit sehr großen Betten ausgestattet und funktionell eingerichtet. Sehr schönes, großes Bad. Das Frühstück war großzügig für Italienische Verhältnisse. Sehr gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis.

Wir waren nun schon zum zweiten Mal auf der Durchreise hier um endlich diese schöne Stadt zu besichtigen und wurden gewohnt sehr freundlich empfangen. Das Haus ist schon in die Jahre gekommen, wird aber trotzdem gepflegt und div. Reparaturen durchgeführt. Unser Zimmer war sauber, lediglich die WC-Brille hing schief und der Spülknopf klemmte gelegentlich. Ansonsten hatten wir nichts auszusetzen. Für diesen Preis kann man nicht meckern. Es liegt relativ zentral. Covid-Zertifikat wird ordentlich geprüft! Frühstück ist zubuchbar. Vielen Dank!

We stopped for a night on a long trip. The location is industrial that’s why the 4 points. The hotel is nice, spacious and very clean room and bathroom, cosy beds. The staff is very kind, the breakfast was very good. Absolutely recommended, for an overnight stay

Es war die richtige Wahl: die beste Lage in Ferrara, direkt gegenüber der Burg, ein total gepflegtes Hotel, Superservice, sehr schöne, moderne Zimmer. Ein absolutes Tophotel. Man kann es nicht besser machen. Und dann der Service. habe einen Ohrring verrloren und erst bei Ankunft zuhause gemerkt. Das Hotel hat diesen innerhalb von 20 Minuten gefunden und sofort die Zusendung veranlasst! Perfekt! Und Ferarra ist ein absolutes Juwel (glücklicherweise wissen das noch nicht viele Touristen). Ich würde jederzeit wieder kommen! Das Hotel hat Charme, Stil und die Bestlage. Rund herum viele sehr nette Restaurants und Cafes.

The pleasure of staying in this beautiful city was enhanced by this delightful hotel. It could not be more central. The welcome was always warm and friendly, my single room a very good size with a comfortable bed and the establishment kept at a very cosy temperature during a chilly week. The breakfast was splendid with good gluten-free provision, and over all I felt the stay was exceptional value. It was comforting and relaxing to come back here at the end of a day being a dutiful tourist!

This is luxury accommodation in a beautifully renovated 16th or 17th C palazzo at very reasonably tariff. The hotel is in a convenient location a 15 minute walk from the Castello Estenese and Duomo. The furniture in the public spaces is high quality antiques. I especially noted the stair landing with three ”grandfather”clocks. The dining rooms for prima colazione are of an elegance that I suspect was carried over from its former life as a palazzo di una famiglia importante. My room on the top floor was done in rather feminine style and had its own little spiral staircase up to it's dormer window with views over gardens behind the hotel. It was extremely comfortable and tranquil. The staff at reception were engaging and charming. They were able to direct me one morning to a are school supply shop where I was able to purchase two of the flattish and spacious briefcases that Italian primary and middle school pupils use for thir books and supplies instead of too heavy back packs. I have only seen these in Italy. The staff had to do some research and they did it quite well. I would not hesitate to recommend Duchessa Usabella Hotel to anyone with discerning taste who is visiting Ferrara

The hotel is located in the outskirts of the city center but it is very convenient if one is traveling by car. To arrive to downtown one needs around 15 minutes on foot. Fine for us. One can see that it had been a very elegant place, unfortunately right now needs renovation. Some things of our room were not in good condition. The heating system was not working properly but fortunately the people from the reception sent someone to fix it. We had too a little inconvenient with some kids that were making a lot of noise making it impossible to sleep. Again the problem was solved. It would say that the most outstanding offer of the hotel is the helpfulness and friendliness of some people in the reception area .There is a guy who is fantastic and I am so sorry that I can’t remember his name. The breakfast was ok. Investing some money to renovating it would be a fantastic idea!!!
