Casa di Langa offers modern & beautiful design, excellent cuisine, and nice spa services. During our 4-night stay, we appreciated the friendly staff in the spa and restaurant, and enjoyed a great dinner and massages. However, these positives were overshadowed by a distressing incident and the hotel's inadequate response. On the second day of our stay, jewelry was stolen from our room while we were at the spa, despite us never having left the hotel premises since our arrival. The theft of personal items from a guest room is absolutely unacceptable in any hotel, let alone a 5-star establishment where one expects the highest standards of security and trustworthiness. What's even more disappointing is the hotel's inadequate response to this incident. They apologized to us and merely promised to ”talk to the staff” and thoroughly search the room, which led nowhere. Despite the presence of security cameras, no thorough investigation seemed to be conducted on their end, which forced us to file a police report, while the hotel offered no reimbursement or meaningful gesture of goodwill. We left with the feeling that the hotel didn't fully believe us. Six weeks have passed since the incident, and despite our regular inquiries, Casa di Langa has provided no updates on their investigation or measures taken to prevent future thefts. The management's poor handling of this situation reflects a serious deficiency in their commitment to guest satisfaction and hospitality.  While Casa di Langa has potential as a luxury destination, the theft and subsequent mishandling of the situation severely impacted our experience. For a 5-star establishment, the lack of robust security measures and inadequate crisis management raise serious concerns. Potential guests should take these concerns into account when considering a stay at Casa di Langa, as the lack of security for personal belongings significantly undermines the hotel's otherwise attractive features and the promise of a relaxing vacation.

It is a large Castello with extraordinary views, impressive, comfortable period rooms and suites. The reception staff were very helpful and the lady who manages the breakfast room was so kind and helpful. The only reason we did not rate 5 stars was because of the unacceptably rude attitude of the maître d when, as the first guests to arrive, we politely asked to change tables. He actually rolled his eyes and flatly refused any of the 5 tables we wanted to switch to saying they were all reserved. At the end of our dinner, which was perfectly delicious, only 3 of those tables were occupied - when I mentioned this he replied that they had received cancellations or no-shows from outside guests… The building is quite extraordinary with long passageways and narrow stairs to the rooms (there is a lift) and curiously out of keeping leather armchairs and cheap perfume diffusers. The decoration is a little off but the hotel is a must see and we recommend staying here for a unique experience.

Es war spitze und alles top. Wegen promo war der Preis unschlagbar gut. Würde am liebsten nochmal hinfahren. Ok Internet oder WiFi an meinem PC hatte ich Probleme war ja nur eine Nacht aber kein Problem. Noch kleiner Tipp. Im Dorf gibt's viele Restaurants zur Auswahl unbedingt ausprobieren. Dankeschön.
