The warmest of welcome from a great team at Ugo Hotel. The hotel is well placed in a nice area. It was modern, very light, airy and clean. Our room (334) was on the third floor facing towards what looked like residential apartments. Our only wish was that our view hadn’t been slightly obscured by a wall to another part of the hotel. The reception / lobby / bar was a good place to sit. The main light hanging above made a statement. The room itself whilst not the biggest had everything we needed for a comfortable stay (3 night) during our tour. There were two big, very comfortable beds. This combined with the pillows supplied led to 3 good nights sleep. The second bed was great for laying clothes out and packing ‘ unpacking. The WC / Shower were in the ensuite with the washbasin just outside in an area divided from the bed space by a divider and hanging space. The shower was very good although some might find the floor slippy. There wasn’t a plug in the sink (by design). This was the moment we remembered the travel plug had been left at home. This was an inconvenience when shaving and meant that more water was used than might have been had there been one. We pointed this out as a water saving idea at reception who welcomed the positive feedback. There was good air-conditioning but like most you need to leave one of the key cards in if you want it to continue working when you go out. That said from an energy saving point of view it didn’t take long to cool the room down once we returned. We did turn the AC down at night as like most installations the noise can be a bit of a pain when trying to sleep. There was a good choice of food for breakfast and a nice looking bar with a fantastic team. Not everyone spoke English but we didn’t speak any Spanish but we got by just fine. We had some great Chilean wine and loved the Pisco Sour. Thanks to Laos Silizar for giving me his recipe. There is an enclosed garden area at the back close to the bar with a variety of seating among greenery and to one end a pool. The lifts were quick and we never had to wait more than a few seconds for one. There were two ice cream shops within seconds of the main entrance and a number of nice restaurants. The tallest building in Latin America Sky Costanera was only about a 10 minute walk away. By virtue of its height it has the highest viewing platform in Santiago, from where the 360 degree panoramic view from the 61st and 62nd floors including The Andes is exceptional. Beneath this is a very big shopping centre containing many restaurants of all sorts. We went our for a walk each evening in the direction of the adjoining residential. There were some nice apartment blocks / homes. The area was well lit and felt safe. To summarise we enjoyed staying at Ugo Hotel very much. All of the staff were fantastic. Postscript: Having left Santiago to visit Atacama we returned to Santiago and had a night in an airport hotel before flying home. Rather than stay within the conf

Porém, em todos os passeios as vans te buscam entre 5h - 6h30, logo, você precisa comprar algo para comer previamente. - O café da manhã é muito ruim, em um comparativo com os hotéis do Brasil. Estou falando de suco tang com um iogurte de 2 reais, doce e artificial. Além disso, não é buffet, eles te servem na mesa o que tem no dia. - Os quartos têm infiltração nas paredes, o que gera mofo e uma sensação de descuido. As roupas de cama são boas. - A vedação acústica dos quartos é precária, você escuta qualquer conversa ou barulho nos corredores ou nos quartos de cima. - O preço da água no hotel é absurdo, estou falando de 20 reais para 1,5L. - A localização do hotel é excelente e você consegue ir a pé conhecer os arredores e almoçar/jantar. - O chuveiro é muito bom, e tem água quente na pia também. - O ar-condicionado funciona muito bem na função de ar quente, favorecendo um quarto aquecido no inverno. - É possível fechar passeios na recepção do hotel. - Os funcionários são todos muito solícitos, simpáticos e educados. Conclusão: opte por uma hospedagem melhor, caso tenha condições.

Sehr schönes Hotel im Providencia-Bezirk, gute Verbindung zum U-Bahn-Station, absolut hilfreiches Personal und gutes Frühstück. Wir waren eine Gruppe, die an verschiedenen Tagen angekommen und verlassen wurde. Wir blieben für eine Nacht ... zwischen den Flügen. Von Süden nach Norden in diesem Hotel und konnte Gepäck hinterlegen, alles arbeitete wunderbar. Ich kann es absolut empfehlen.

Ich habe hier ein paar Nächte geblieben und das Hotel ist in sehr guter Form, alles riecht immer noch neu. Die Lage ist nicht wirklich gut, es gibt buchstäblich nichts, Sie brauchen einen Uber, um irgendwo hinzugehen. Nein, nimm nie ein Taxi in Chile!!! Sie werden Sie völlig auseinander ziehen. Front Desk Menschen sind überhaupt nicht freundlich oder willkommen, aber ich denke, das ist überall in Chile.

Die Lage ist sehr gut.

We arrived at the Abba Presidente on 7 January after cruising South America. Even though our travel agent had inadvertently scheduled us for January 7, 2025, Daniella welcomed us into the hotel, and gave us a room until we sorted the reservations out. The location is ideal just a few hundred metres down the avenue is a large mall. The Costanera Center. This enormous centre has every store. You can possibly imagine over multi levels in addition, a huge food court, which includes dine in restaurants, such as Chile, Tony, Roma, and many others. In the short walk from the hotel to the mall, you will encounter Street vendors with many local, artisan, crafts, clothes, etc. approximately 5 km from the hotel, and the uptown area will get you into the downtown anne Moore historic area where many tours are available to show you around and explain the history of this magnificent city. Taxis, Ubers are available, but we chose to walk and it was an easy walk, uncomfortable, and safe sidewalks to the city centre. In the morning, you can wake up from seven till 10 to very good buffet, breakfast with eggs, sausage, toast, fruit, yogurt, cereal, and more. I did find the coffee, a bit strong, but that’s my personal taste. The English spoken to me by the staff was excellent and for this I was very grateful as my Spanish is very bad. It didn’t take long to straighten out my reservation and the manager assured me that all was good. the room we had was more than adequate very spacious with a small sitting area a nice bathroom, a large and comfortable bed, good air conditioning and excellent Wi-Fi. I could not have asked for more .The front desk staff organized my taxi to the airport on my departure date without trouble I would definitely stay in this hotel again if and when I return to Chile.!!!

Wir haben 2 Nächte nach einer Kreuzfahrt dort übernachtet. Das Hotel liegt etwas abseits und man sollte schon gut zu Fuß sein, wenn man in die Stadt kommen möchte. Andererseits ist die Lage gerade in den momentanen unsicheren Zeiten wiederum optimal. Recht zentral aber doch weit genug weg und schneller Anbindung an die großen Strassen Richtung Flughafen. ;-) Das Hotel selbst ist sehr groß und unser Zimmer in der 3. Etage (359) relativ klein. Da wir gerade von einer 5 wöchigen Kreuzfahrt kamen hatten wir schon etwas Probleme die Koffer zu öffnen. Etwas unprofessionell fand ich, dass bei Ankunft die Badutensilien nicht vollständig waren. Shampoo und Bodylotion war vorhanden aber Seife und Duschzeug fehlte. Am darauf folgenden Tag war dann das Toilettenpapier nicht aufgefüllt und erst nach 3x nachfragen an der Rezeption kam noch welches. Wir haben 2 x in der Lobby gegessen und waren sehr zufrieden. Preise sind schon hoch aber für ein 5 Sterne Hotel angemessen. Frühstück draussen am Pool war etwas kühl aber das Ambiente schön. Hier sollte man ein stärkeres Auge auf das Buffet haben. Heruntergefallene Löffel (im Honig) oder sonstige ”Unfälle” werden kaum bemerkt. Ansonsten ist das Angebot nur normaler Durchschnitt für ein 5 Sterne Hotel aber die Bedienungen waren ausgesprochen zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Gefährlich fand ich den Fußweg von der Straße links und rechts hoch zur Eingangstür des Hotels. Durch die merkwürdigen Stufen und die gelben Streifen bin ich mehrfach fast gestürzt.

Ich reiste von mir nach Santiago, und da es eine sehr große Stadt ist, war ich besorgt, an einem unsicheren Ort zu bleiben. Ich bin jedoch froh, zu sagen, dass die Umgebung des Hotels wirklich organisiert und sicher erschien, und der Weg zum U-Bahn-Station ist sehr kurz und einfach. Das Hotel selbst war sehr gut ausgestattet, mit einem komfortablen Bett, einem Safe, einem sehr großen TV und einem Schreibtisch. Wi-Fi funktionierte gut (Natürlich nicht perfekt, aber gut genug), und die Badezimmereinrichtungen waren auch perfekt geeignet. Das Personal war freundlich und bereit, meine Fragen zu beantworten und mir Empfehlungen zu geben. Daher bin ich froh, Capital Bellet an jemanden zu empfehlen, der Santiago besuchen will!
