Travelodge by Wyndham Prince Albert

While I understand that Travelodge brand just acquired the former Inn at this location and and some wildfire evacuees recently stayed at this place for a while, I am not too impressed with the general outlook of this hotel. The hallway floor with the room floor needs a serious shampoo wash or an entire replacement. Serious smoke smells in most areas of the hotel, including the hotel lobby, elevators, and on your way to the car park. On the flip side, most of the staff were quite nice and ready to help. Also, the bed is comfortable.

Excellent rooms: Comfortable beds and the rooms were spacious.checking in was quick and easy: the staff was accommodating and very polite. The food was good (at breakfast) and although we didn’t get a chance to go to the water park, Ill definitely be going when I come back the next time, to Saskatoon!

Let me start by saying that i have 29 years of employment in a hotel. The most disgusting thing about our room was the bar of soap in our bathroom. It was a leftover bar of soap used by previous guests. The little bottle of conditioner etc. had been previously used and just topped up with water. The unsanitary conditions made us concerned especially given the covid problem a couple of years ago . Even the cheapest motels give new soaps etc for each new stay. Interior halls, room furnishings old and run down. Had to wait for hotel to inspect our room before we could check out. I have never seen that anywhere. Restaurant was very old. Only 3 tables of customers for breakfast and the 2 servers could not get orders right. Food average.

Horrible experience from start to finish. We were lied to upon check in about the room we booked not being available then put in a room with no air conditioning and then moved into a room with a clogged showerhead and paper thin walls. After check out we discovered almost $900 in overcharges to our credit card. Manager was very difficult to get ahold of and kept giving excuses about being very busy and wearing too many hats for not following through on her promises to rectify the issues. I don't think we've ever had such a poor experience at a hotel before.
