Mountains of Hope

The Mountains of Hope retreat fosters healing on so may levels! I love the beautiful retreat grounds, the caring and helpful staff, and many holistic modalities. MOH also provides a space to share authentically with other participants. These elements all contributed to rejuvenating my health--mind, body, and spirit. I feel a deep appreciation to Mike Murphy, the founder of Mountains of Hope for the vision to create such a unique and wonderful place of healing.

The experience here was incredible. I spent two weeks in heaven here in the Andes mountains. The ceremonies, treatments, and food were so healing. You feel so safe and serene the entire time. This place is so special. The rooms are comfortable and clean.

Wow! Words can't even begin to describe the amount of healing and self discovery that happened here. From the ancient plant medicine ceremonies, the sharing circles, daily teachings, daily yoga, breathwork, hot and cold plunges, the amazing staff ( Sara, Marcello, Daniko, Valentina, German ) , the facilities, the cleaners, the ground staff, the farm to table menu, the amazing Chef and Mike the founder and owner, Thank you Mountains of Hope from the bottom of my heart. I would come back in a heartbeat and I highly recommend Mountains of Hope to anyone that is in need of any sort of healing and true self discovery.

So excellent !!!! This was an amazing experience. I went for long term health issues and from day 1 the staff, directors, chef , support staff was so accommodating. The food is healthy nutritious, the juicing perfect blends of fresh fruits & veggies. The wellness center has so many protocols for a robust healing schedule that the Advocates help us navigate. The infinity pool that over looks the rolling hills. The center is safe and surrounded by nature. It's a respite and healing adventure. The educational aspects and creation frequency work is very helpful. GRATEFUL.

Mountains of Hope is a true sanctuary to connect to one's self again. We'd wake up and practice yin yoga overlooking the misty Andies Mountains, drink lots of healing green juice, eat delicious organic foods grown on the property, walk around and pick guava, mandarins and other tropical fruits from the trees around the property, sauna, steam, cold plunge, get incredible healing treatments like myofascial massage, IV therapy, brain mapping, PEMF, guided breath work and meditation, beautiful ceremonies hosted by local shamans such as temascal and cacao, and amazing guest speakers where we learned important information on healing. I honestly can not say enough great things about this place and am so happy to have been able to share space with such a lovely community of retreaters and staff who made my experience truly magical. I left floating, feeling lighter, more clear, and with a huge open heart. Mountains of Hope and all of the beautiful humans who run it, have helped me re-open my heart to the beauty of life. A most extraordinary place for healing and transformation. Mountains Of Hope has everything you need to reset positive patterns in your life. The food is all organic and grown right on their grounds. The staff is extraordinary, accommodating, and very supportive of your journey. Wake up to the most spectacular views, with the rise of the sun, do some Yin yoga, hot saunas, and cold plunges, and laps in the pool if you like. For additional support on your healing journey, they have a wonderful doctor on staff psychologist, a chiropractor, massage, therapist, myofascial release specialist, and more. The entire support staff is wonderful! I brought both of my young adult children with me and they also experienced dramatic and wonderful transformation. I am so grateful for founder, Mike Murphy, and activities/nutrition/fitness director, Tim James for creating such a special space that is so needed on this planet right now. Wherever you are, it is worth the travel trip to the mountains of Medellin Colombia for the Mountains Of Hope experience. Even more extraordinary are the various traditional ceremonies dating back thousands of years to honor the very special life we live here at this time. Spend a week or two or more and you will leave better than you’ve arrived. I am truly grateful for the experience, and I look forward to returning as soon as I am able!

This is nothing like you’ve ever experienced before 🥹 This place has EVERYTHING and more you need for a DEEP physical, emotional, spiritual and mental healing. As a hypnotherapist, I was so blown away of the beauty and energy of this place. My husband and I have had endured 19 consecutive miscarriages as a result of the childhood trauma. I went through hundreds of different healing modalities, but the Mountains of Hope is where I really was able to open up fully. We connected with some of the most amazing people there, that we became like a family with. The facilities are so beautiful and cousy. We did yoga and lots of sport activities. For the very first time I felt like I had a breakthrough that I’ve been looking for for a long time during the sacret ceremonies. I’ve also lost about 5 kg in a week, got much more fitter, lighter, healthier. My back pain that I’ve been struggling with has gone completely. The level of attention and care you get there is like nowhere in the world. And my husband and I have traveled the world and tried so many different places to help us to bring our long-awaited baby in this world 😇 If you are looking for the place to heal your mind, body, past traumas, relationships with yourself and others, without even thinking definitively visit it 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

My wife and I were blessed to be invited as one of the first groups of guests to stay at the stunningly beautiful Mountains of Hope. Even as a professional author I’m struggling to fully articulate just how magical this property is. Energetically, visually, emotionally, spiritually and physically this place is easily the most unique environment out of the scores of countries I’ve spent time in. This place sells itself, but anything I can do to coerce potential guests is the least I can do.

I’ve been to many wellness retreats but this is the first one that combines all elements of wellness - body, mind and spirit. It’s the first one that incorporates over 2 dozen modalities of healing and the staff is absolutely amazing. I started with a 3 day water fast which I could not have pulled off elsewhere. Some of the highlights from the retreat include cacao ceremony, fire ceremony, Soma and Holotropic Breathwork, learning sessions nightly, cold plunge after IR sauna, IVs for hormones and detox, Shiftwave and more. I highly recommend MOH for anyone looking to heal from anything!
