recently stayed at the Best Western Poway/San Diego Hotel and had a comfortable experience. The hotel's location is convenient, situated about 20 minutes north of Downtown San Diego and the San Diego International Airport, making it easily accessible to various attractions.
The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that my needs were met promptly. The complimentary breakfast offered a variety of options, including scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles with toppings, yogurt, cereals, and breads, providing a good start to the day.
While the hotel is a bit dated and could benefit from some updates, the overall experience was positive. The outdoor pool and sun deck provided a relaxing environment to unwind. Additionally, the free parking was a convenient perk.
Overall, I would recommend the Best Western Poway/San Diego Hotel for travelers seeking a comfortable and affordable stay in the Poway area.

The hotel asks for no smoking in room but when I first enter the room there was a very strong cigarette smell. There were cigarette burns on the chair and sheets. Also, although they are pet friendly, they charges an extra fee without acknowledging before booking the room.
