Amazing position, great location. Maria, on reception was a 'star' -what a welcome. Friendly and professional. Treat two pots of ice cream, added bonus. A room off the dining area, first on the right, no miles of walking, excellent. Clean and comfortable, as the bathroom, lovely and clean. Breakfast the usual, seriously manic. Extremely busy, buffet, just warm food, lots of choice, wonderful hash browns. No prisoners taken, still enjoyable. Tables cleaned in between guests, well done. Only down side 'He' has now become a registered disabled, no parking available in the small parking area located on site which was annoying. We parked in the underground Gunwharf car park, the charge was reimbursed which was fine, however, it was an issue for him getting to and from the hotel. Did not spoil our stay, loved it, hopefully will stay again.

Sehr gerne dieses Hotel, das Zimmer ist sehr sauber und hell, viel heller als auf dem Bild, das Zimmer, in dem wir wohnen, ist auch viel größer als auf dem Bild, und das Rezeption lächelt warm. Hier bleiben, wie im kleinen Marinemuseum, ist das Bild auf der Wand noch mehr für die im Hafen ansässige Kriegerkampfkammer, was ein wenig warmer macht. Fünf Minuten zu Fuß vom Golf und sechs Minuten zu Fuß vom Hafenbahnhof in Portsmouth. Die Einrichtungen sind zwar alt, aber im Hotel Sandwich sind sie schon sehr gut.

Ich habe vor der Ankunft einige negative Bewertungen gelesen und war ein wenig besorgt darüber, wie mein Aufenthalt gehen würde. Ich muss sagen, all diese Bewertungen wurden falsch bewiesen. Wir hatten einen wirklich guten Aufenthalt. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit, und das Rezeptionspersonal arbeitete insbesondere ständig an der Rezeption, in der Bar und hilfte nach den Mahlzeiten und Frühstücken gereinigt und gereinigt. Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber und komfortabel. Das einzige Problem ist die separate Parkgebühr. Das Hotel muss für eine Maschine bezahlen, ist ungewöhnlich und unnötig.

Nice hotel，good location，many restaurants nearby，and close to Portsmouth & Southsea station. Very nice staff，especially Hasan！Very enthusiastic and friendly！When we go back to the hotel，he always say hello to us. We feel so happy and warm. In other words，in Chinese we call it “宾至如归”. The meaning of “宾至如归” is guests feel at home. Thank you so much!

Manchmal werden Sie irritierende Gäste. Es passiert. Aber das Front Desk hat es schnell und ohne Schlag. Ich fragte nur, ob sie ein alternatives Zimmer auf demselben Stock hatten, um sicherzustellen, dass ich den Rest bekommen konnte, was ich brauchte, aber sie haben mich aufgebaut und bieten Hilfe, um meine Sachen zu verlegen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut, frisch serviert und heiß. Ich sah einige Bewertungen zum Gegenteil, aber konnte es nicht fehlen. Sehr schöne Umgebung und Bar-Bereich hatte eine schöne Atmosphäre. Ideale Lage, nur einen kurzen Haufen von der Hafenzone entfernt zu sein. VG Gesamterfahrung und würde definitiv zurückkehren. Danke.

Confusing Parking Rules Very Modern look. The room was a reasonable size nicely decorated apart from the hideous carpet. The bed was nice and big but a little hard for me I prefer a soft squishy bed but I Slept ok. bathroom was spacious but No toilet brush which isn't nice. and the see through wall with a privacy button that turns the glass white is a bit weird especially as the door stays clear so not really very private. But fun if you like watching your partner take a shower or sitting on the loo while you are still in bed. What ever floats your boat LOL. Tea and coffee supplied but no complimentary biscuits. Cloths rail is useless in Room 338 it slopes down and your cloths and all the hangers fall off. Breakfast was OK Average but not as hot as it should be. Evening meals are very over priced For what they are. £17.95 for very basic Fish N Chips and Same Price for Burger and Chips. Drinks are over priced Too.

Great locations amazing overall and great nightlife best choice

Great location, lovely clean and comfortable room. Perfect for what we needed during our brief stay in Portsmouth. Free parking was a great addition. We had a good nights sleep and the breakfast in the morning was very, very good. Throughly recommend a stay here. Really helpful and friendly staff

Excellent friendly hotel with great staff, attended HMS INTREPID REUNION with over 60 other members of our group and the staff worked so hard , very good food in the evening and excellent breakfast selection, great cosy bar next to reception and a lively function room with bar downstairs, a great time was had by us all and a big thank you to all the hard working friendly staff

We had a wonderful time here for a week. Yes the rooms are dated but still comfortable and clean. The restaurant is a child friendly place and yes they do run around screaming but wasn’t a problem for us, we went into the over 18 area and it was fantastic. The staff are amazing and friendly the one member that stood out to us was Brandon he was always happy and a great laugh he done everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. Nothing was too much effort for him and he took the time to get to know us. He made our week. Highly recommended this hotel
