Colonna 24 Luxury Room in Portovenere Near 5 Terre

If you’re looking for the best place to stay in Porto Venere, you’ve found it! Colonna 24 was our home away from home for a brief few day on our honeymoon in Italy. The manager, Giovi, is personable and incredibly helpful! He reached out in preparation for our trip, provided recommendations and help getting reservations during our time there, and saw us off personally on our last day. Super wow 😉 I cannot say enough good things about this B&B! Will most definitely tell everyone we know about it and make a reservation again the next time we are in the region!

What a gem this place is!!! I'm so thankful that we found it as it made our stay in Porto Venere so much more pleasant. The Manager, Giovanni is outstanding. Nothing was too much for him and he was helpful in so many ways. We also met the Owner, Paolo, a lovely man. The room was very well presented, clean, new and modern. The location was perfect as it was nestled between locals, yet close to the main walking area, and easy to access. Breakfast was great and the relaxed athmosphere at the hotel made us feel home from home. I would definitely recommend Colonna24

Truly wonderful staff. We can't put enough stars in our review for Paolo and Giovanni....they made our stay even though the hotel and location are phenomenal as well. So much to see here and not very "touristy" at all during the week. Take their recommendations as the know the best things to do. Very easy to hop a taxi to La Spezia and go to the Cinque Terre for the day. Grazie Mille.

We had an amazing experience staying at this small beautifully furnished boutique hotel. From check in to departure the owner Paolo and manager Giovanni made sure our every need was met. From carrying all our luggage to the rooms while we enjoyed a glass of fizz in the courtyard below to advising on restaurants and places to visit during our stay. Having someone carry the luggage to your room I witnessed was quite unique in Porto Venere. There are quite a few steps up to the hotel which applied to the majority of hotels here so it may not suit people with mobility issues. The hotel is completely refurbished to the highest standard with large comfortable beds and pillows for a good nights sleep. Each room has a safe, mini bar, flat screen tv, espresso machine and beautiful bathroom with large walk in shower, bidet toiletries and hairdryer. A delicious continental breakfast was provided with freshly baked bread daily and eggs cooked to order. Nothing was too much trouble for the host Giovanni who was also very knowledgeable on the area. The hotel is located in the centre of the old town close to all shops, bars and restaurants. I can’t recommend this place enough and look forward to visiting again in the future.

We enjoyed our stay very much at this lovely small hotel. The room was super clean, spacious, and beautifully renovated, in a great location. Giovanni was wonderful -- he helped with the check-in and check-out, taking our bags by cart to and from the local parking garage, which was a great relief to us, and supervised breakfast every morning. Breakfast was terrific, with options for all nationalities (from eggs to delicious Italian crostata), and it was a nice way to meet other travelers. We met the owner, Paolo, the first day and he was also very friendly. We found the town of Porto Venere to be lovely, with a great vibe and restaurants. It wasn't nearly as crowded as the Cinque Terre towns and even more beautiful, in our opinion. Highly recommended.

We stayed there one night in September and enjoyed it. Jovanny and Paolo assist us all the time, with the suitcase from the parking to the room, with all room facilities, with the breakfast with everything. The room was comfortable and in excellent location so all was ok
