Hotel Moderne

Perfectly located on the pedestrian street in Porto Vecchio, the hotel breakfast was great and good value. The room was big enough and the hotel also offers parking, although some distance away. Would definitely return.

Very beautiful place, modern and minimalist. Service is very good. The bed is extra comfortable. Our only negative point would be the fee for the parking (in our opinion, unnecessary and inconvenient for a hotel of this standing…). Might better be included in the room fare …

Well situated in the centre of Porto Vecchio. Clean if small room facing the church. Generous size towels. Great shower and toiletries. Lift worked. Nice staff. No complaints. However a couple of gripes. Music on Saturday night was loud till 3.30am. They must have known as it was following 4 weddings in the opposite church. But they didn’t say anything or apologise. Roof top is lovely with great views but my champagne very poor quality and flat. Breakfast was 15 euros per person for continental OR yoghurt granola and fruit. Both included fruit juice and hot drink. Both pleasant but expensive compared to elsewhere. You cannot park near the hotel so pre-book and drop off your bag and get directions and the code to use their private car park about 400 metres away up a steep hill for 15 euros a night. This is essential in my view and offers secure parking.

The title says it all, this is an absolute gem! The hotel is in the center of Porto Vecchio and everything you need is in walking distance. Our room had a great design and offered everything we needed. The staff was lovely and helped us with all of our questions. The cherry on top is definitely the rooftop bar. You have the most amazing view over town from there. Only thing that was not great was that the blinds didn't fully close so the room was quite light as of early in the morning. But we would definitely stay here again.

This was our final stop of our 10 days in Sardinia and Corsica so we decided to end on a high by booking the superb suite. We were so glad we did. It was spotlessly clean and very spacious and we loved the large covered balcony. Even better, it was available early, and after our two night stay, we were also kindly granted a late check out. All the staff at the hotel were excellent. Emilien organised our transfers from Bonifacio and also to Figari airport. Excellent driver with large comfortable car. We were kindly provided with extra Nespresso pods and enjoyed our breakfasts on our private balcony. There is a bakery very close by. The position in the centre of this beautiful village was perfect. Weather was mostly kind but we did experience a brief thunderstorm which we marvelled at from our covered balcony watching lightning strike nearby hills! Thunder and pouring rain added to the drama. The water view from the suite was also sensational. Highly recommend this boutique hotel, aptly named Moderne, because everything is stylishly new and modern throughout. Do go up to the communal fifth floor terrace for 360 degree views of Porto-Vecchio. You can also enjoy breakfast and a drink there but we preferred our own private terrace for that.

Stunning hotel centrally located in the heart of Porto-Vecchio. The hotel is beautifully designed and very comfortable. The rooms and premises were very clean, the amenities were great and the staff was super nice and helpful. Breakfast was generous, with a nice terrace opening to the old town. Too bad it was too cold so we couldn't enjoy the rooftop, which had an incredible view. Would definitely stay there again.

I had an incredible stay at the Hotel Moderne. Take my word for it, the suite is worth every penny! The room was incredible. I plan on taking my girlfriend here for our anniversary again. The staff was exceptional, kind, and incredibly helpful! The hotel itself is very nice and clean. the location is great and by so many shops and restaurants. I didn’t even need a car, I could walk everywhere, including to the port and enjoy dinner by the yachts. 10/10 recommend to anyone visiting this beautiful village and getting to experience the Corsican culture!

Hôtel très bien placé, chambre très confortable, personnel très attentif et aux petits soins, roof top à ne pas manquer pour le petit déjeuner . Le seul point négatif fut le bruit lié à des voisins restaurateurs peu soucieux du désagrément du verre versé dans les poubelles à 01:00. Peut être une affiche collée sur le container permettrait d’eviter cet incident.

Super accueil dans la nuit alors que notre vol à partir de FIGARI venait d'être annulé. Hôtel très bien situé au centre ville que nous avons remarqué très animé mais dont nous n'avons pas profité vu les circonstances . Personnel sympathique.
