Lychee Tree Holiday Apartments

Stayed here with my wife. We were in apartment 24 which we were really pleased with. It's first floor with parking directly underneath. Nice balcony overlooking the pool. The apartment itself was well appointed and very nice. Pool was lovely. The place was quiet despite quite a few people here - the pool was never crowded at all. Nice BBQ facilities. Whole thing very good indeed. My wife and I stay in a lot of places and this is one we would most definitely come back to. Highly recommended.

A fantastic base of operations for our family holiday to North Queensland. We had multiple parties with children and across three affordable apartments we had plenty of space and amenities to have meals at home when we wished, use the pool every day, and wake up knowing we didn’t have to rush around because we had a kitchen, lounge and dining area all to ourselves whenever we needed. The location is perfect as it is walking distance to the Main Street of Port Douglas, including supermarket, restaurants, the marina and of course the beach. It’s also a short drive to the highway to access other parts of North Queensland such as Mossman Gorge and the drive up to Cape Tribulation. One member of our party had accessibility issues which was no problem considering our apartments were on the ground floor, as was the pool and parking areas for the cars. In short, it was very clean, friendly, accessible, and easy!

We were happy with our choice at Lychee Tree. Apartment was comfortable and had everything you needed. Pool was good. Location perfect and only a short walk to beach and Main Street. Great choice for the price. We would recommend this as a good place for a family to stay.

A great place to stay within a nice walking distance to centre of PD plus easy access to the beach. Great amenities onsite, everything we needed and easy to prepare meals in the apartment as all the utensils are on hand. Our apartment was rejuvenated tastefully and was nice and quiet. Pool area was a lovely place to relax after a big day on the reef. Thanks Edward and Leo (and thanks for showing the Easter Bunny where to leave the haul!) :) We will definitely stay again.

We stayed three nights in the most basic room and it was perfect for our family of four. Lots of space for everyone, good working air con and very clean and tidy. Kids games and puzzles were a lovely touch. Highlight was definitely the pool. Beautiful temperature including a shallow end that was great for our 3 and 4 year olds. The complimentary use of kids pool toys meant hours of fun for our family. A good location, a little out from the town centre but a one minute drive to the marina and a two minute drive to the Main Street. We would definitely stay again. Great value for money.

We have stayed at Lychee Tree a few times. We love it here. Its a short walk or even quick shuttle bus trip to town. The accommodation is clean and tidy with all that we need. I accidentally broke the handle on the microwave and it was replced with a new one immediately. There is a lovely pool, with pool toys, seating and a BBQ area. Its a great place to relax in the sun and read a book, while the children can play in the pool. There is a campi site next door, but Ihave never heard asound from there. It is always very quiet and peaceful. We cant wait to come up again.
