Hotels mit Pools in Porches

Eines der besten Hotels unserer vielen Urlaube. Deshalb stand ganz schnell fest, dass wir nach unserem Aufenthalt im vorletzten Jahr wieder hier Urlaub machen wollen. Das ganze Resort super gepflegt. Schon auf den ersten Blick ist das gesamte Resort ein Schmuckstück. Perfekt instand gehaltene Grünanlagen und Wege. Poollandschaften, Restaurants. Liegewiesen eingebettet in schöne und sehr gepflegte Gartenanlagen mit Wasserfontainen, kleinen Brücken, tausenden von Pflanzen. Es ist wirklich unglaublich, das auf diesem Niveau halten zu können. Der Ausblick von den Restaurants über den Infinity-Pool hinweg aufs Meer. Einfach traumhaft. Alle von uns besuchten Restaurants sind ausnahmslos zu empfehlen (Whale, Giardino, Atlantico, Arte Náutica, die anderen haben wir nicht besucht). Sehr leckere Vorspeisen (vor allem die fruchtig leichten Salate haben mir geschmeckt), ausgezeichnete Hauptspeisen und die Desserts ebenfalls sehr lecker, auch wenn man oft schon nach dem Hauptgang gut gesättigt war. Auf den Speisekarten ist für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Für Kinder gibt es umfangreiche und sehr leckere Speiseangebote (Chicken nuggets, Pizza, Nudeln mit verschiedenen Soßen, was ja standardmäßig überall angeboten wird, aber auch sehr leckere hausgemachte Hühnersuppe, Fisch (wie auch bei den Erwachsenen Tagesfang) mit Kartoffelpürree und Gemüse. Für letzteres ließ das Kind (7 Jahre) gerne die Nuggets stehen. Es gibt abends immer ein Couvert für 4-5 Euro/Person. Es beinhaltet sehr leckeres Brot (Focaccia, Grissini, Walnussbrot, Currybrot - immer wieder etwas anderes), dazu Olivenöl, Balsamico, kleine Portionen Frischkäse oder Tapenade. Es wird immer höflich gefragt, ob dies erwünscht ist. Wenn nicht, wird es selbstverständlich auch nicht berechnet. Ob es bei der HP inkludiert ist, weiß ich nicht. Es gab auch viele leckere Cocktails, auch für Kinder wurde sich die Mühe gemacht, einen Mocktail nach Geschmack mit Obstdeko, Strohhalm und allem drum und dran wie für die „Großen“ zu servieren. Überhaupt sind alle sehr kinderlieb. Beim Abendessen gibt es immer etwas zum Ausmalen am Tisch, es ging aber immer recht schnell mit dem Service. Kinderclub und Krippe für ganz Kleine gibt es auch, haben wir aber nicht genutzt. Zu den zum Hotel gehörenden Restaurants am Strand im Nebenort gibt es einen kostenlosen Shuttle vom Hotel aus. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr sehr umfangreich. Es gibt eine Showcooking-Station für Eierspeisen, man kann diese und einige andere Speisen aber auch á la carte bestellen. Ein Dutzend Sorten an Brot, dazu viele Sorten Kleingebäck (dazu gehören natürlich auch täglich die „pasteis de nata“). Die anderen bestimmt 15 Gebäcksorten täglich haben immer variiert. Außerdem gab es eine große Station mit frischem Obst, das immer sehr lecker war. Nicht einfach aufgeschnitten, ob es reif war oder nicht, sondern immer genau richtig. Dazu viele Sorten an Müsli, Körnern, Nüssen, Trockenobst… sowie frische Smoothies. Darüber hinaus, viele sehr leckere Käsesort

Anfahrt, freundliche Begrüßung an der Schranke durch den Portier, Willkommens-Empfang schon vor dem Eintritt in die gemütlichen Rezeptionsräumlichkeiten, Rundfahrt durch die Anlage bis vors Zimmer, mit den besten Informationen, Tipps für Restaurants und Antworten auf alle Fragen, durch den überaus hilfsbereiten und sehr netten Andres. So zieht sich die Kette der Freundlichkeit durch alle Bereiche. Ob beim Frühstück, wo einen ein herzlich, sympathisches Team erwartet oder beim Dinner, da geht es genauso höflich und charmant weiter, wobei uns hier Carlos, mit seiner Aufrichtigkeit und Haltung besonders gefallen hat. In der Wellness Oase ist es die gesamte Crew, die eine Wohlfühl-Atmosphäre schafft und hier möchte ich insbesondere Paulo erwähnen, unter dessen Hände ich geraten war und den ich nur empfehlen kann. Wobei Maria ebenso ihre Tätigkeit professionell verrichtete. Ebenso das Gärtner-Team und die Damen der Zimmerreinigung, alles war im Einklang. Ohne jetzt Details einzeln zu bewerten, die komplette Anlage ist fantastisch. Wenn Algarve, dann auf jeden Fall ins Vilalara Thalassa Resort.

Die Hotelanlage und die Zimmer sind in einem sehr gepflegten Zustand. Die TV - Geräte sind veraltet und als deutschsprachiges Programm ist nur der ARD empfangbar, wobei die Textseiten fehlerhaft angezeigt werden. Das Badezimmer ist neu renoviert, wobei allerdings das Bidet nicht benutzt werden kann, weil es zu nahe am Waschbecken montiert wurde. Der Balkon ermöglicht eine freie Sicht auf das Meer und das Rauschen des Meeres ist angenehm hörbar. Das Essen von Buffet ist akzeptabel, wobei die Auswahl nicht einem 4 - Sterne Hotel entspricht. Sauna und Dampfbad sind nicht vom übrigen Wellnessbereich abgetrennt und können deshalb nur mit Badebekleidung benutzt werden. Die Holzverkleidung der Sauna ist ziemlich schwarz und sollte dringend renoviert werden. Komisch ist der Weg vom Wellnessbereich zu den Zimmern, welcher am Speisesaal vorbei durch den Eventraum zu den Liften führt.

A quiet, lovely apartment complex Pleasant greeting at reception, 2€ per person per night tourist tax charged on arrival, ouch but we knew about it beforehand. Room was nicely located overlooking one of he gardens, spotlessly clean, practical airy, we had a one bedroom apt, with 2 adults and 2 older teenagers , only tiny issue is one of the teens is over 6ft and too tall for the pull out bed, but he coped. The pool area was lovely , very quiet . You had your own parasol in the room to use on the balcony or take down to the pool if required, which was a great idea. Pool toilets were little dated , but we just popped back to our apt instead. Nice play area for kids. Cafe/bar/ restaurant We were a little annoyed that the bar restaurant was closed for our stay as this wasn't mentioned in booking and still not out of season, however the cafe was open and food was delicious, as were the cakes and coffees, lacked any atmosphere in evening apart from the one night where there was live music. Just needed a little music sorting really. Location short walk to several beaches ( some accessed from steep cliff steps) absolutely stunning clifftop walks , make sure u visit the little church area and shell trees near beaches its so pretty. You cN either walk towards beach or the intermarche for bars and restaurants, there is plenty, or go into armacao de pera, €3 in uber. Try tasca26 tapas it's amazing and easy walking distance.. Overall (this was a real budget holiday for us) is absolutely worth every penny, traditionally portuguese, friendly, quiet, and in a quiet but beautiful location.

Alle Voraussetzungen ein gutes Hotel zu sein .... leider einige Dinge die überhaupt nicht passen! War im Juni 2024 in diesem Hotel und habe mich aufgrund der Beschreibung wirklich gefreut. Angekommen wurden wir von einem sehr netten jungen Mann begrüßt der uns sofort mit dem Gepäck geholfen hat. Anschließend check in ebenfalls durch eine sehr nette Dame an der Rezeption. Danach wurden wir zu unserem Appartement gebracht welches wirklich sehr schön war. Also die ersten Eindrücke absolut Top und Empfehlenswert. Von dann ging es leider aber bergab. Wir wollten uns gleich am Beginn am Pool ausruhen und haben uns gewundert das alle Auflagen für die Liegen umgedreht waren. Überall war Kot von den Möwen und anderen Vögeln. Dann mussten wir selbst die Auflagen umdrehen und leider feststellen das auch hier auf jeder Auflage (wir haben über 20 Auflagen angesehen) Kot war und hier sichtlich auch nie vernünftig gereinigt wird. Die Freude auf ein Sonnenbad war somit dahin und wir gingen wieder ins Appartement und haben uns auf die Sonnenterrasse begeben wo auf den Stühlen Gottseidank kein Kot war. Am Abend habe ich das an der Rezeption bemängelt ... Ergebnis leider das keine Verbesserung in 6 Tagen Aufenthalt erfolgt ist. Dann kam der 1. Morgen. Geschlafen sehr gut und die Vorfreude auf das Frühstück. Die Mitarbeiterinnen beim Frühstück waren eine einzige Katastrophe - uninteressiert (außer die Frage nach der Zimmernummer welche in meinem Fall 3 mal innerhalb von 15 Minuten erfolgte), aber keine Nachfrage ob man einen Kaffee möchte oder anderes. Ich ging dann selbst zu den Damen und habe Kaffee bestellt. Ingesamt waren dort während unseres Aufenthalts 4 Damen beim Frühstücksbuffet welche durchgehend unhöflich und uninteressiert waren. Wenn diese Probleme abgestellt werden können, kann es wirklich ein tolles Hotel werden. So würde ich nie wieder hinkommen!

Me my wife and 2 children aged 11 and 12 have just come back from a 4 night break here . First the reception guy couldn’t have been any nicer on first arrival . When I said I’m checking in he said first things first , how was your trip? . Absolutely lovely guy as were all the staff we encountered . Our side view double room was spotless . The beds were comfy as was the kids sofa bed. Onto the food . Overall we all thought the food was really good . A lot of variety and both my kids were going up for 2nd and third plates . The staff again were amazing and very polite . The British people on here complaining about the food must be used to chicken nuggets and other junk food. My youngest is the pickiest eater imaginable and she loved the food . She tried all sorts of food including paella and the different veg on offer and lived most of it . The snack bar does do basic burgers and hot dogs if that’s your thing but we’re in Portugal not the uk so we were more than happy with the food . The only thing I would say would maybe increase vegan options ? My wife can’t have dairy and although there was enough dairy free options she was quite limited in what she could have . Maybe a vegan pizza, or 1 or 2 vegan desserts and some oat milk would have been great. Soya milk is available at breakfast but is the most inferior of milk alternatives so a choice would have been nice . Now the entertainment . Just a big thankyou to all the entertainment/animation team.We enjoyed all the night time entertainment . The Portuguese dance show was great as were the traditional costumes . The tunnel of terror was brilliant ! Halloween is quite a big thing in our house and this was better than any of us expected . There was a delay on us entering but the young French lad was so polite and apologetic and kept telling us they want to get it right and it has to be safe . All 4 of us were absolutely buzzing when we came out of the tunnel . You could see the work and effort that had gone into this. Speaking of work and effort , the final Halloween show. Wow ! Absolutely brilliant . I can’t imagine the effort end work that went into this . The young French girl with blonde who created it was in tears at the end which showed how much it meant . My wife turned to me and said “I knew she’d have had something to do with it “ all the animation team were amazing but this girl was non stop throughout the entertainment , so a special thankyou to her . The entertainment is not aimed at the French . It’s done in 4 languages English, french , Portuguese and Spanish . I think the British people complaining should stick with places like Benidorm . In fact the worst parts of our break was British kids running wild whilst their “parents” were getting to drunk to care . Older French people at the buffet not understanding how to que was also annoying but in no way the fault of the hotel . Thanks again to the hotel and all the staff we encountered ! Ashley ,room 1432

Amazing place for quite holiday. We had one bedroom apartment with extra bed in living room for our soon. Fully equipped kitchen 3 balconies with little sea view. Cleaning every second day. Landing smells clean and fresh every day. Pool Good size for after high season. Can't imagine how busy it must get in summer holidays. Pool bar with cheap drinks. Beach 10 min walk one on the right loads of stairs and one on the left with a slope more suitable for prams etc. With restaurant. 20 min walk including ”million” stair there is a Beach with amazing mohito and kayaks and paddle board rental called ecobar. Very nice staff. There is a restaurant called sweet spot in the complex with nice cheap food and drinks. With outdoor area. All done inclusive restaurant glad we were self catering. However if u not to fussy u can pay 25 euro pp for meal which is a lot compare to 15-20 eating out restaurants. Very cheap Uber and car rental. Uber eats delivers too . Fun There is 2 water parks not far Zoomarine and slide and splash. First one has mini zoo on site parrots dolphin experience extra large but most of the slide after high season. So we decided to go to slide and splash 27euro adult and 14 child. U we cost us 22 both ways.open 10-17. Load of fun and not busy for a waterpark in October. Shopping There is an Intermarche supermarket 15 minut walk from the complex where u can get everything u need for self catering. Limited spirits however full range of wine. Lidl is 20-30 min walk if u prefer. Eating out Indian restaurant we did not try 5min walk Italian restaurant amazing pizza and sangria would not recommend anything else. 7 min walk There is also grill restaurant but it was closed whenever we wanted to go there sadly always smells good though. Next to it is tapas and grill not tried either. Can definitely recommend Chinese i.n armacao de perra called happy talk nice service tasty food and best ice cream 10 min walk from there every where else we had ice cream after that it was ok. We went to sea view restaurant for amazing steak in Albuferia called O Penedo really recommend it . All in all would recommend and we will definitely go back.

We stayed in a 2-bed villa - it was roomy with plenty of outdoor space. It is a bit dated bur comfortable - kitchen is well equipped, good beds and had a great shower. The villa was less than 5 mins walk to the main hotel with the pool (bigger than it looks in online photos), with plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas / shade, and a reasonable restaurant with lovely staff. Large supermarket is 10 min walk. Beach is about 10 min walk. 20 min walk to main town but uber service is top notch.
