Aus beruflichen Gründen nutze ich gewohnheitsmäßig Hoteleinrichtungen und aus emotionalen Gründen bin ich auch der Vater der stellvertretenden Direktoren von zwei Hotels einer bekannten spanischen Hotelkette, aber aus objektiven Gründen muss ich zugeben, dass Vigos This Pazo dos Escudos Hotel ist eines davon. Die Top Ten der besten Hotelkomplexe in Spanien haben die beste Qualität an Einrichtungen, Möbeln, Unterwäsche usw. The bedrooms were very comfortable, clean and beautifully furnished. They include a small kitchenette with fridge and coffee making facilities. The spa facilities were also excellent. I’ve never seen so many hydrotherapy jets and jacuzzis in one hotel. We enjoyed the sound bath, massages and floatarium. There was a daily programme of wellness activities including yoga, Pilates, sound baths etc. The staff on reception were excellent, with an efficient and friendly check in / check out. The buffet breakfast was good with a wide selection of hot, cold and wellness breakfast items. The major downside was the restaurant and bar service. There were very few staff available to serve food and drinks, so dinner service was incredibly slow despite the best efforts of the waiters / waitresses. It is a short 10 minute walk to the restaurants in town so we found this was a reliable alternative option for speedy service and a wider menu. There are restrictions around pool access for children. Accommodation in building 2 has a large pool that is accessible to 5-12 year olds. In building 1, there is a small unheated pool for 5-12 year olds (very cold water even in mid August) and an aqua play area for small children. The other pools in building 1 are exclusively for over 12s. Building 2 is better for families as it also houses the kids club, but the differences between the two buildings weren’t clear when we booked. The styling at the hotel is eclectic. It has a unique maximalist style with an incredible array of colourful props and lighting styles in every space of the hotel. We found it fun, but not a hotel for minimalists. The Augusta is primarily a spa with excellent accommodation. If it can improve its food and drink offerings, it would truly deliver on its ‘relax’ promise. More broadly, Sanxenxo has a lovely beach and lively seafront with lots of restaurants and ice cream shops.

Das Hotel ist schön und das Zimmer sehr gemütlich. Ich mag nicht sehr die anhaltende Insinuation des Besitzers und seines Partners, dass meine Freundin und ich zusammen schlafen müssten, weil wir Männer und Frauen waren (auch wenn ich klar war, dass wir Freunde waren), aber wir blieben nur eine Nacht. Die Rezeptionisten waren wunderschön.

An overnight stay on our Camino walk (The Old Way). The hotel is easy to find, comfortable and the rooms nicely appointed. Reception staff were extremely helpful, spoke good English and provided a useful city map. Its a city hotel so expect some night-time noise! The room shower was great and a respectable breakfast buffet was set out for breakfast. There was even a small selection of hot foods, which made a pleasent change after our regular continential breakfasts. There was also lashings of good hot coffee delivered to the table. The hotel also provided us with picnic lunches for our onward travel. It contained a nice selection of meat and cheeses and they also catered for vegitarians on request. For those walking the Camino the Portuguese Way it is a pleaseing stop-over in Ponteverdra.

Ich möchte meine Geschichte erzählen, nachdem ich die Nacht im Hotel verbracht habe, sehr komfortabel, ruhig, sehr sauber, sehr gut organisiert, mit allem, was notwendig ist, um den Aufenthalt zu genießen (Television, Schrank, großes Bad, saubere Schleifen, Null Staub, alles sauber und sehr gut gepflastert). Zusätzlich zu einem sehr kompletten Frühstück und zu einem ziemlich günstigen Preis, war ich sehr glücklich nach Madrid, zurück und 6 Stunden später merkte ich, dass ich meine Jacke in einem der Zimmer im Schrank ließ, in denen ich vor der Nacht schlief. Ich musste den Chirrager anrufen, und all diese Unannehmlichkeiten um 4 Uhr morgens, ein totaler Chaos. Nach 3 Stunden rief ich das Hotel an, um meine Jacke zu fragen und sie hatten sie noch, sie schickten mich per E-Mail und 2 Tage später war ich bereits in Madrid. Und nicht nur das, zusätzlich zu allem, was ich in der Jacke hatte (eine Creme der Hände, Papiere, die Schlüssel des Hauses usw.). Nur sagen, dass ich mich sehr dankbar für dieses Hotel fühle und dass diese Art von Aktien keinen Preis haben. Danke für Ihre Hilfe, ich habe nichts verloren und ich habe ein großes Gefühl von Ihnen. Ich bin Ihnen sehr dankbar, nochmals!! Sehr empfehlenswert dieses Hotel bereits nur für die Menschen, die daran arbeiten. Diese Art von Aktien hat keinen Preis 😊.

Acabo de salir hace un rato del hotel. he estado una semana y estoy encantada de haber elegido este hotel. El personal de recepción muy amable, contestaron a todas nuestras dudas. El personal del comedor, tanto de la cena como la del desayuno muy amables y atentos. Utilizamos el spa, si que es pequeñito, pero para relajarnos un poco nos valió. La habitación y el baño muy limpias. la única pega las almohadas un poco bajas para mi gusto. El hotel cerca de todo. Repetiré seguro.

Hemos estado hace algunos días en el hotel y nos ha encantado. Habitación con muchos detalles, restaurante acogedor con vinoteca de cristal, y desayuno buffet bastante variado, (recomiendo el crumble de manzana). Spa que invita a una total relajación. La atención por parte de los empleados es muy buena.Destacar la simpatía y profesionalidad de la jefa de recepción.
