The hotel was beautiful with large rooms and wonderful antiques. The courtyard was lovely and the food was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. It is just a short walk to the beach and the neighborhood has beautifully restored buildings. I highly recommend this hotel .

Good food authentically served in mud pot Pondicherry chicken curry was tasty with rice and creme brûlée had one plus one cocktail was surprise Santhosh service with smiling face and attentive, open area with candle lifts was add on to the ambiance

I recently stayed at dune de lorient and loved its 18th-century charm and french heritage feel. The elegant architecture and serene atmosphere were perfect for relaxation. Conveniently located (in white town) near the city’s attractions, it was ideal for exploring. The staff’s warm and attentive service made my stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for a unique and historic experience!

It was good experience with my friends,we had couple of meals and drinks,really nice,rooms are french style and clean and neat, staffs are very helpful and courteous, breakfast dosa and Paratha was nice,we will definitely recommend to our friends.

Stayed there for two nights, in the ground floor, since all its windows open in the courtyard which has seating of its only restaurant means u can't open the windows and little privacy, no balcony, very small washroom, it does give a old French feeling with high beds but it may get boring if travelling with kids, once u enter ground floor rooms it feels like u entering a dungeon, one may find the seepage smell since there is no cross ventilation, telephones in room don't work, mobile signal is also bleak inside room though WiFi of hotel works fine, some electric sockets have sparking issue since they probably want to maintain the heritage feeling, 14000 for such a room is exorbitant Positive aspects Food is good and freshly prepared, but again the fans in the courtyard restaurant are limited, Location is central in white town, walking distance to rocky beach

i will say it was best trip of my life Hotel was amazing from the vintage look to food. Taking about staff and service, i felt like am in home. UNISH is the person who not helped us in services but also in other things and also guided us for many adventures which couldn’t see on its own. He treated us like a family. am definitely going to visit again and contact that person he is like a family now.
