Palazzo Circolone

The most beautiful hotel in a renovated palazzo on a small square in the centre of Poggiardo. The rooms are gorgeous - spacious, high ceilings and great modern bathrooms. Breakfast is delicious. The pool area is also beautiful and relaxing. The hotel is in walking distance from several cafes and restaurants and there is a lovely bar in the lobby (excellent coffee). I was treated like a VIP guest and the staff were attentive, kind and helpful. For me this was a five star experience. Highly recommended, I will definitely return for a visit when in Puglia.

We were given perfect hospitality, welcomed and valued as special guests. The ambience is warm, the rooms are impeccable and classy, the common areas are delightful. Francesca and the rest of the staff were solicitous and genuinely cared about whether we were having a good experience. They could not have been more helpful. A wonderful stay.

Superb staff! They really make you feel welcome!! Great location and awesome building. Rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable. Bathroom is nice, shower is awesome! Breakfast is fantastic. Pool is really nice. Highly recommended!

Had a wonderful stay at this gem of a hotel! Service was excellent from Francesca and Sandra on front desk where nothing was too much trouble to all the lovely housekeeping ladies who did a fab job and always had a smile and a buon giorno! We will definitely return!! London, UK

This was a fabulous place with huge reception rooms and a beautiful bedroom with a painted ceiling, with doors opening onto a terrace. It was spotlessly clean, the bed comfortable and a large modern bathroom. The garden is quiet and pretty, and the swimming pool crystal clean and beautiful. But best of all was Francesca, who communicated with me before the trip, welcomed us and looked after us with great charm and care from start to finish. The breakfast was fabulous, with fresh ingredients (oranges from the trees in the garden); the coffee delicious, and all served in a pretty area (with the wood burning stove lit for us on a cool morning), with a smile by Fina. We couldn't have had a better place to stay in Poggiardo.

What a stunning little property and a great base to do day trips from. I cannot recommend this property enough, it is small, stylish and Italian !! Restaurant is brilliant, you must have dinner here at least once, its a treat. The manager Lavinia is fantastic, actually all the staff are but Lavinia takes it to another level. She cannot do enough for you. If she gives you a recommendation, DO IT, she gave us great this to do, restaurants, places to swim etc etc. Love love love this property.

The rooms are situated above a bar, its not a bad thing as the restaurant was pretty good also. Over Christmas, the place can be secluded but at the same time the lights make it magical. We had a sauna in our room!! Feels like a Palace instead of a hotel. Really enjoyed our stay and the staff was amazing also.

Such a great place to stay. We were given a new room which doesn't feature yet on website- actually two double rooms joined by a staircase. Lovely breakfast of home made cakes. Great quiet pool area. Super helpful and friendly staff who also had great advice of where to visit and where to park. Bar downstairs was never noisy.

Prachtig hotel in een mooi oud gebouw. Personeel was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Wij zaten in kamer Kaloceri, een standaard tweepersoons kamer. De kamer heel mooi, heel groot en schoon. Prachtige tegels uit de 19e eeuw op de vloer. Ontbijt was erg lekker, genoeg keuze en heerlijk zitten op het mooie tuinterras. Zwembad heerlijk fris met fijne bedjes en altijd plek. Parkeren kon een straatje verder, gratis.
