It’s hard to imagine how a pocket boutique anywhere could be better. We loved it! Six stars! Location: Near the crest of the historic Old Town, a stone’s throw from the Roman theater, you pass under a spindly boom pole setting the tone that you are entering a special gated community. (Just tell the watch person you are a hotel guest.) Décor: It really is an art gallery. Original paintings by contemporary Bulgarian artists are installed throughout. The little breakfast/refreshment keller has catalogues and books about them. The rooms are few enough that you have the sense of staying in a private home. And the wonderful blending of historic, quirky and contemporary touches results in a delightful envelope of character. Barely open two years, it has the assured demeanor of a comfortable longtime resident. Rooms: We stayed in a Deluxe Room on the top floor. What fun to lie in bed gazing at the stars through matching skylights with electronic controls for the shade and shutter on each side. Good storage, outlets, and sitting space. Bathrobes, luxurious Etro amenities, sleek fittings in the bathroom. A small balcony gave us a view over the city. We took a full, leisurely room service breakfast. Service: The door opened to a warm welcome, a full rundown of the routine, and a chance to pre-order breakfast. Checkout was equally friendly and efficient. There is no elevator, but the evening manager carried our bag up when he showed us the room. Surroundings: Although not immediately obvious, street parking is easy; the historic mansions from various periods are an architectural delight. But be aware, the cobblestone streets are serious; it’s no place for heels! Finally, a note to snobs: Until we checked out, I had no idea I had just stayed at a Best Western. If The BW Premier Collection is an example of their latest foray, I’ll be looking for more stays with them. Bravo!

Das ist eines der schönsten, komfortablesten Hotels, die wir jemals verblieben haben. Wir haben für 3 Nächte in einem der kleinen Zimmer (Elegant) geblieben und während kleiner, das Bett war groß und komfortable. Unser Zimmer hatte eine große kleine Terrasse, die über die Straße sah, die wir alle selbst zu trinken und Leute zu sehen. Das Badezimmer war sehr sauber und hatte sogar besser eine echte große Dusche, mit einer Tür, die geschlossen und nicht überall auf dem Boden splashte Wasser, das ist eine seltene und überraschende Luxus in Europa. Die mitgelieferten Frühstücksbuffets waren lecker und hatten eine Vielzahl von Angeboten, darunter sehr gute geschrotete Eier, Sauce, Bacon, französisches Toast, kleine Pasta, etc. , zusammen mit den üblichen kalten Fleisch und Käse, Joghurt und Getreide, die die meisten Hotels bieten. Das Hotel ist sehr gut ausgestattet und sehr freundlich, und sie haben uns eine schöne kleine Tour des römischen Bades gegeben, das während des Baus entdeckt wurde, was zu dem Charme und der Atmosphäre des Hotels hinzugefügt. Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet und sehr wandelbar. Es gibt eine private Parkplätze, aber wir haben es nicht mehr benutzt, weil wir nur einen Tag ein Auto vermietet haben. Unser einziger Beschwerde war, dass das Zimmer nachts etwas bekommen hatte, aber wir konnten das Klimaanlage nicht verwenden, weil das zentrale System für die Heizung (es war Ende Oktober) und sie nicht auf dem A/C auf ein Zimmer wechseln konnten. Wir öffneten das Fenster, um das Zimmer zu ventilieren, aber schloss es während des Schlafs aufgrund der Nähe zum Straßenlärm und Fahrzeugauspuff (nicht das Hotelproblem, Plovdiv würde gut serviert, um den Fahrzeugverkehr in diesem Bereich zu begrenzen). Insgesamt, ein fantastisches Hotel mit unglaublichem Personal und einem tollen Wert!

We booked a junior suite and enjoyed a very pleasant room with all the usual amenities. There was a very long and dark corridor to get to our room which is OK as long as you don't drop anything and expect to find it again. The hotel is ideally situated for exploring Plovdiv and filled our needs perfectly. If you choose to include breakfast with your booking you have to go to a café about 40 yards away. The breakfast is nice enough but the menu is very limited. The big plus point about this hotel is the reception staff who are so nice and friendly. This hotel is recommended for a short stay in Plovdiv.

Hotel Imperial Plovdiv is the best place to stay in Plovdiv. The highest quality of service, the attentiveness and careful attitude of the staff towards the client, the cleanliness of the rooms and the kitchen, additional options in the form of the Internet and the gym attract and stand out from the rest of the hotels, given that the cost for all these conditions is quite affordable. For the first time, we came to Imperial Plovdiv last summer and the whole family fell in love with this place. This year, without even thinking too much, we booked a room for a few days before going to the sea. Special huge thanks to Vladimir Kochanov for his help in everything that you might need. Definitely recommend this place if you want to be treated first class!

We stayed here two nights recently and everything was perfect. The rooms were very spacious, the size of a small apartment. Well stocked kitchen and a decent sized bathroom. Everything was spotlessly clean. The location was steps away from dozens of different restaurants, they even have one on location. We were also an easy walk from everything we wanted to see in town, with the train station an easy 25 minute walk. Best of all, the folks at the front desk were absolutely wonderful! The offered excellent advice on what to see in town, were super-friendly, and even arranged a cot for our toddler to sleep in, despite ********** indicating none was available (we did email and ask ahead of time; was set up waiting for us in our room). We will certainly look to stay here again the next time we are in town.

Sehr wütend, nicht freundlich, nicht korrekt und nicht freundlich Manager auf der Rezeption. Ich fühlte mich hier unvorstellbar Ruhe, unachtsam gegenüber den Gästen. Für andere Mitarbeiter keine Fragen, nur der Administrator hatte schreckliches Verhalten. Hoffen wir, dass der Administrator irgendwann die erniedrigende Haltung gegenüber sich selbst kennen und fühlen wird. Vielleicht wird sie in Zukunft eine gute Person sein, aber es gibt starke Zweifel daran. Nein, nie wieder zu diesem Hotel!

Super near Plovdiv train station. Friendly helpful reception. Spacious room. Fridge and toilet heater unplugged, had to plug in myself. Mini kitchen only comes with microwave oven, no cooker no kettle no utensils etc. Love the huge toilet sink. Suggest to have shower curtain and more hooks in the toilet. Bedroom carpeted. No room slippers provided. Don't bother about the view. Noise can be heard next door. 15 minutes walk to city centre. Overall stay-able for 1 night.
