It’s hard to imagine how a pocket boutique anywhere could be better. We loved it! Six stars! Location: Near the crest of the historic Old Town, a stone’s throw from the Roman theater, you pass under a spindly boom pole setting the tone that you are entering a special gated community. (Just tell the watch person you are a hotel guest.) Décor: It really is an art gallery. Original paintings by contemporary Bulgarian artists are installed throughout. The little breakfast/refreshment keller has catalogues and books about them. The rooms are few enough that you have the sense of staying in a private home. And the wonderful blending of historic, quirky and contemporary touches results in a delightful envelope of character. Barely open two years, it has the assured demeanor of a comfortable longtime resident. Rooms: We stayed in a Deluxe Room on the top floor. What fun to lie in bed gazing at the stars through matching skylights with electronic controls for the shade and shutter on each side. Good storage, outlets, and sitting space. Bathrobes, luxurious Etro amenities, sleek fittings in the bathroom. A small balcony gave us a view over the city. We took a full, leisurely room service breakfast. Service: The door opened to a warm welcome, a full rundown of the routine, and a chance to pre-order breakfast. Checkout was equally friendly and efficient. There is no elevator, but the evening manager carried our bag up when he showed us the room. Surroundings: Although not immediately obvious, street parking is easy; the historic mansions from various periods are an architectural delight. But be aware, the cobblestone streets are serious; it’s no place for heels! Finally, a note to snobs: Until we checked out, I had no idea I had just stayed at a Best Western. If The BW Premier Collection is an example of their latest foray, I’ll be looking for more stays with them. Bravo!

Das ist eines der schönsten, komfortablesten Hotels, die wir jemals verblieben haben. Wir haben für 3 Nächte in einem der kleinen Zimmer (Elegant) geblieben und während kleiner, das Bett war groß und komfortable. Unser Zimmer hatte eine große kleine Terrasse, die über die Straße sah, die wir alle selbst zu trinken und Leute zu sehen. Das Badezimmer war sehr sauber und hatte sogar besser eine echte große Dusche, mit einer Tür, die geschlossen und nicht überall auf dem Boden splashte Wasser, das ist eine seltene und überraschende Luxus in Europa. Die mitgelieferten Frühstücksbuffets waren lecker und hatten eine Vielzahl von Angeboten, darunter sehr gute geschrotete Eier, Sauce, Bacon, französisches Toast, kleine Pasta, etc. , zusammen mit den üblichen kalten Fleisch und Käse, Joghurt und Getreide, die die meisten Hotels bieten. Das Hotel ist sehr gut ausgestattet und sehr freundlich, und sie haben uns eine schöne kleine Tour des römischen Bades gegeben, das während des Baus entdeckt wurde, was zu dem Charme und der Atmosphäre des Hotels hinzugefügt. Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet und sehr wandelbar. Es gibt eine private Parkplätze, aber wir haben es nicht mehr benutzt, weil wir nur einen Tag ein Auto vermietet haben. Unser einziger Beschwerde war, dass das Zimmer nachts etwas bekommen hatte, aber wir konnten das Klimaanlage nicht verwenden, weil das zentrale System für die Heizung (es war Ende Oktober) und sie nicht auf dem A/C auf ein Zimmer wechseln konnten. Wir öffneten das Fenster, um das Zimmer zu ventilieren, aber schloss es während des Schlafs aufgrund der Nähe zum Straßenlärm und Fahrzeugauspuff (nicht das Hotelproblem, Plovdiv würde gut serviert, um den Fahrzeugverkehr in diesem Bereich zu begrenzen). Insgesamt, ein fantastisches Hotel mit unglaublichem Personal und einem tollen Wert!

The hotel enjoys a great location bordering the old town and Kapana areas. It is accessible from the bus/train station on bus services 20 and 26. The fare is1 BGN, pay cash on bus. Catch bus on the station side of the road immediately outside the station and alight at the first bus stop after exiting the tunnel, about a 5/7-minute journey. It is just a short walk to numerous restaurants and bars and convenient for all major sights. Helpful and comprehensive introduction to Plovdiv on check in with map supplied and recommendations for things to see and do are provided. It was a beautiful clean and spacious room. our only minor reservation was the bathroom which is quite small and the shower is not enclosed so water is spread around the floor. Even though a squeegee is provided to mop up water, it is a little inconvenient. The room was well equipped with kettle, tea, coffee and water provided. There is also a mini bar. Breakfast the following morning was very good. Buffet style with range of options. All the staff were excellent, prices are very competitive for the quality on offer. We would not hesitate to stay here again if in the area.

We stayed here two nights recently and everything was perfect. The rooms were very spacious, the size of a small apartment. Well stocked kitchen and a decent sized bathroom. Everything was spotlessly clean. The location was steps away from dozens of different restaurants, they even have one on location. We were also an easy walk from everything we wanted to see in town, with the train station an easy 25 minute walk. Best of all, the folks at the front desk were absolutely wonderful! The offered excellent advice on what to see in town, were super-friendly, and even arranged a cot for our toddler to sleep in, despite ********** indicating none was available (we did email and ask ahead of time; was set up waiting for us in our room). We will certainly look to stay here again the next time we are in town.

Groß mit herrlicher Lage, Personal, schöne Zimmer mit allem, schönes Frühstück in der Nähe des Flusses Maritsa

Wir haben für eine Nacht für eine Sportveranstaltung in diesem Hotel geblieben. Das Hotel ist nur etwa 7 Minuten vom Hauptbahnhof von Sofia entfernt und etwa eine ähnliche Entfernung zu den Attraktionen der Altstadt mit dem Auto. Das Hotel ist modern und brandneu mit kostenfreiem Parkplatz vorne, einem Restaurant und einer Bar im ersten Stock. Neben dem Eigentum befindet sich eine Gasstation und ein Supermarkt (Kaufland). Wir hatten eine zwei Schlafzimmerwohnung, die sehr geräumig war mit einem Master- Schlafzimmer mit einem Königsbett, das mit einem Balkon verbunden war und hatte ein eigenes Badezimmer mit einem Tube. Das andere Schlafzimmer hatte zwei Zwillinge, an den gleichen Balkon wie der Meister und es eigenes Badezimmer mit eigener Dusche. Es gab keine Toilette im Badezimmer, sondern vielmehr in einem separaten Badezimmer neben dem Wohnzimmer. Das Wohnzimmer war geräumig mit einem Sofa, einem großen Flachbild-TV und einem Essensraum. Es gab eine Küche mit Kühlschrank und Mikrowelle. Das Frühstück wurde inbegriffen und es gab eine nette Auswahl an warmen Speisen, Brot/Getreide, Obst, Saft und Kaffee. Insgesamt eine ausgezeichnete Wahl für das Plovdiv Hotel und wir werden nächstes Mal wieder bleiben.

Vor zwei Jahren besuchte ich dieses Hotel und schrieb später eine Bewertung. Ich dachte, das Hotel sei das beste Holiday Inn in meiner gesamten Reiseerfahrung (Ich habe in den letzten 10 Jahren rund 40-50 Übernachtungen pro Jahr in Holiday Inn Hotels auf der ganzen Welt reisen und verblieben). Ich habe immer noch die gleiche Meinung - das ist das beste Holiday Inn Hotel, das ich besucht und geblieben habe. Das Hotel ist sehr nahe der Altstadt, nur über den Maritsa River. Es gibt viele gute Restaurants in 1-10 min Fuß. Das eigene Restaurant bietet Gourmet-Frühstück von Qualität, sowohl Essen als auch Getränke. Die Zimmer und das ganze Hotel sind sehr sauber und schön. Das ganze Personal war sehr professionell, freundlich und ging über und über das, was ich normalerweise in ihren Bemühungen erlebt habe, meinen Aufenthalt besser zu machen. Danke für das Hotel und das Personal, und freuen sich auf meinen nächsten Aufenthalt.

Ein sehr schönes hotel im wald und am ende vom see. Die Zimmern waren sehr angenehm ,und sauber. Das bed wahr sehr gut . Der ausblick wahr unglaublich. In der nacht hat es sogar geschneit. Das früchschtück war sehr gut. Wir hatten hier ein personal mit sehr mangelhafte verständigung. Sehr wennig English. Ende gut alles gut.
