The staff did their best but they couldn’t offer a reason why, in high season, I was the only guest out of 33 rooms. Maybe word has got out about the corporate indifference of the owners. The room was large but not air conditioned. The bathroom was recent, by the look of it. The electrics needed checking - I had to unplug the fridge due to the loud cracking from the socket. Breakfast wasn’t bad, though as the only guest I didn’t get the option of my choices from the buffet, which, understandably, wasn’t laid out. This was poor value for money, and I am still mystified as to how the establishment was rated 4 stars. 3 stars would have been generous for this once pleasant but now soulless establishment.
