St. Giles Southkey

Great hotel stay. Hotel is well equipped and nice! Superb good location, located within Mid Valley Southkey Mall. They have Gigi coffee + Oriental kopi shops there, too, which are located inside the hotel. Check-in and check out processes are hassle free. Easy to grab around, too if you are not driving. Parking is shared parking with other visitors to the mall, but only 5rm per day for hotel guests. Love the hotel vibes. I will definitely stay longer the next time!

Had a great short getaway with a 1 night stay at St. Giles. The front counter staffs were friendly, the hotel has convenient access to the mall and the breakfast buffet has a wide selection of food. Though do head to the Causeway Cafe for breakfast early as it gets packed! Only concern was the dirty countertop at the minibar which had many water marks from previous guest which were not cleaned. Toilet bowl could have been cleaned more thoroughly too. And the amenities kit seemed to have a few items missing and the hair conditioner appeared to be used.

Went with my friends. First time staying here. The location is good. The shopping mall is huge and full of singaporeans. The hotel breakfast is decent and has have quite afew varieties. The room is clean and spacious. My hotel room faces the canel and can see the sunrise.

Toilet basin choke, toilet a bit sticky other than that cleanliness was satisfying. The bedding was ok. Of cos, the mall is just a stone throw away.

This is my second stay with the hotel. I'm extremely disappointed with my recent experience at St Giles Hotel. Due to a mistake on my part, I booked the wrong dates. Only to realise when I arrived the hotel. When I asked the hotel to give me a solution, I was told that nothing could be done and my money would be burned. I was shocked by their inflexibility. I told them I do not need a refund and will pay for a normal rate for the booking on that day and if they allow to change my wrong dates booking to another day. Despite having availability on the correct dates, the hotel refused to accommodate my request to change the booking. The staff is just uninterested in finding a solution and instead, quoted their strict cancellation policy. While St Giles may have pleasant facilities, their rigid policies and unhelpful staff made my experience unpleasant. For a hotel that claims to prioritize customer satisfaction, I expected more empathy and flexibility.

1. Overpriced. 2. The room was uncomfortable because the mirror light couldn’t be turned off, and the Wi-Fi light kept blinking. I requested the front desk to check both, but the maintenance staff informed me they couldn't turn off the mirror light. This made it difficult for my wife, baby, and me to sleep. 3. The cup provided was dirty, there were watermarks on the table, unclear cement marks at the floor trap area and mosquitoes in the room. 4. There was a long queue for breakfast, the food tasted average, and the food refills were slow. 5. Parking was hard to find. 6. The best part is that it’s close to Southkey. Overall: Not recommended, and I wouldn’t return.
