Bungalows Los Arcos

Bungalows are standard for the price point. Maintained well with friendly staff, but the parking gate controls don't work for anyone, even residents, so don't pay for that. Also, don't expect privacy or respect in the summer months. There are proprietors and canararios from the north of the island here those months who thrive on taking great effort to peer into your private space and then being 'offended' when what they have taken such effort to see is not aligned to thier conservative values... while at the same time being quite loud, rude, and disrespectful of their neighbors when in thier own 'private' space. If you want to spend your summer in a fishbowl being judged by hypocrites, this is the place for you!

I just enjoyed a stay at the Los Arcos bungalows, Number 241. I weas there from Thursday 23rd of may until Saturday 1st of June. Some pros and cons Cons: They were slightly small, eith very little storage for your clothes and baggage. The shower leaked onto the floot, not a whole lot but was just annoying. The fridge only has the letterbox style freezer. The cleaning carried out was only every 3 days, so getting fresh towels and toilet rolls were annoying. Pros: Gated community: Nice and quiet. Choice of 4 pools. Comfortable. Even though there were a few negatives, considering what I paid for them, it was good value for money. I would definitely stay there again. They were about a 10 minute walk to the beach. The yumbo id just the next street over so very convenient. The pools and grounds were spotless. You can avail of a safe, this is in a room just off main reception.

I have stayed at Los arcos numerous times and would definitely recommend. The place is lovely and always clean, the staff are really nice and helpful. You can always get space by the pool due to their being 4 pools and the gardens have sun all day. The bungalows are spacious and have everything you need. Already can't wait for my next visit and wouldn't stay anywhere else!

Firstly we are enjoying a sparkling clean spacious bungalow as a couple (no. 20). Then there’s the roomy garden with sun loungers and our own private outdoor shower which is a nice touch. There are no bugs around the property which even though it’s right next to Yumbo Centre is still serenely quiet. You can’t get this sort of space to enjoy in a hotel without paying a big price. Considering how cheap this place was to book, we are very impressed and we travel a lot. The on-site 4 pools to swim in are all large and spacious. Quiet and don’t have the problems you get with hotels such as competition for sun beds around the pool edge. Overall we are buzzing to stay here, the check in process was really friendly and efficient and when we return to this island we will stay here again without hesitation

Had a really friendly warm welcome from the guy at reception who explained everything, such as the key for the gates around the edge of the complex (it is a gated complex very safe and clean) , gave me a map because the place is huge, and provided the remote control for the tv. Stayed in bungalow 306, lovely modern and clean, mattress new and very firm ok for a night or two but too hard for me, back garden got sun all day, water nice and hot, and strong shower spray. The cleaner came everyday she was a polite and efficient lady who did a great job each time. there's lovely working cats around the complex, some are super friendly and will love a fuss and followed me home for treats(they're all fit and healthy it is obvious theyre looked after, flead and wormed and there's little food kennels and dishes all around the place) The pools are clean and plenty of sun beds. Ten to 15 mins walk to Yumbo Centre and ten to 15 mins to Cita, 15 or 20min walk to Maspalomas beach front where there's plenty of bars cafes and restaurants. 306 is at the back of the complex and just out the back gate is a Spa Supermarket with everything you need. I love it! I actually might retire here.
