Bungalows Rebecca Park

Ich war schon oft bei PDI, aber dies ist das erste Mal, dass ich im Rebecca Park übernachte. Mein erster Gedanke, als ich den Bungalow betrat, war: „Oh mein Gott, wir haben einen Fehler gemacht.“ Als ich mich jedoch einmal richtig umsah, war es nicht so schlimm, wie ich zuerst dachte. Pluspunkte: Der Bungalow ist recht geräumig und bietet viel Platz für ein Sofa sowie einen Tisch und Stühle im Küchen-/Wohnbereich, ohne dass es zu eng wird. Das Schlafzimmer hatte zwei Einzelbetten, die beide bequem waren. Die Dusche war kräftig und es gab reichlich heißes Wasser. Die Umgebung war angenehm und gepflegt. Die Lage ist einigermaßen gut, nur wenige Gehminuten vom Yumbo-Center entfernt. Negativ: Das Schlimmste war die Dusche. Die Basis war teilweise zusammengebrochen und sah dreckig aus, wir trugen jedes Mal Socken, wenn wir duschten, und die Wandbefestigung war kaputt, so dass man sie nicht einfach aufstellen konnte. Der Küchenbereich verfügte über das Nötigste, einen kleinen Topf, einen Toaster und einen Wasserkocher sowie sehr billig aussehendes Geschirr und Besteck. Winzige Teetasse, keine Tassen, und obwohl es eine Mikrowelle gibt, gibt es keine mikrowellengeeigneten Schüsseln, also müsste man welche kaufen. Kein Abtropfbereich am Waschbecken. Alles in allem war es in Ordnung. Der Poolbereich sah sauber und ordentlich aus, obwohl ich ihn nicht ausprobiert habe. Würde ich wieder dort übernachten? Ja, aber nur, wenn es nirgendwo sonst verfügbar war.

Very impressed clean bungalows, lovely terrace with table chairs and sunloungers, beds was comfy to sleep on, cleaner came everyday was very polite, pool area was clean and plenty sunbeds, pool was heated , bar was closed but if you ask them to open it at reception, it's no problem and they make the Best Sangria and pina colada, reception staff lovely and polite nothing was any trouble, close to all amenities also ....bonus we had 3 random peacocks walking around, we will return.

this is a great location. we first went here before the pool was moved a few years ago.one of our stays was when locals stay here ,and it was awful. choose your stay wisely, and you can expect a good stay. even the reception sort of apologised for there awful behaviour. try the britania restaurant in the chaparal shopping centre, and the dutch restaurant next door to it.

My 2nd visit to Rebecca Park this year, because I enjoyed the 1st so much I returned again. This time I had a studio,which has a/c which covers the whole studio, and not a bungalow that has a/c just in the bedroom . The bathroom is quite a bit smaller in the studio. From now on I will book the studio. Marco/Mako ? on reception was very helpful again, as are all the staff. They sell 5ltr bottles of drinking water at reception for 1.5 euros, 2 lasted me 12 nights , for 3 euro`s ! A real Bargain and saves carrying it from the shops ! The Yumbo Centre is 5 minutes on foot, the nearest bus stop 4 mins. The pool and communal area`s are spotless, the sunbeds plentiful and clean. Free wi-fi, pay for the room safe . Remember to keep your key-card away form your phone...Ask me how I know..8=) The Restaurant hours are limited, I didnt eat onsite so cant comment.Overall, great value, and I will return again.

My recent stay at Rebecca Park was incredibly disappointing and downright unsafe. The only positive aspect of our stay was the diligent and friendly cleaner. Unfortunately, everything else about the accommodation left much to be desired. Firstly, there is a glaring lack of security at this establishment. People can come in and out as they please, creating an environment that feels more like a chaotic hostel than a holiday resort. There are no security measures in place to ensure the safety and comfort of guests, which is alarming. The place was overrun with kids running around screaming at all hours, throwing used nappies about, adults standing around drinking and causing disturbances throughout the day and night. This made it nearly impossible to relax or enjoy any peace and quiet during our stay. It’s worth mentioning that this is not a nice place for British tourists, as the atmosphere felt particularly hostile towards us. The resort is mainly full of Spanish guests who don't seem to like British tourists. We felt very unwelcome, especially around the pool area. The manager even told us that it would be best to stay out of the pool and use the beach instead, he said the place isn't good when it's full of Spanish guests and i would be best to visit in October. When we walked past the Canarian people on our row, they would laugh, spit, or say bad words. They would also say Englishand spit. I tried to say hello and so did my disabled daughter but we was ignored. We felt very intimidated in these situations. There was groups of people that would block the walk ways when we tried to get passed. In our particular case, we faced a terrifying incident where an unidentified person opened our window, pulled back the curtain, and threw a stone at my young daughter while she was getting dressed. She was Petraeus. We felt incredibly unsafe, and the hotel staff’s response was grossly inadequate. Despite my pleas for assistance and a request to be moved to another room, we were simply advised to keep our window closed, as we weren't safe. With no air conditioning, this made for an unbearably warm and uncomfortable situation. The Spanish people specifically targeted us with the stone, there was no stones outside the window, and I had no choice but to leave halfway through our stay due to this incident. The atmosphere at Rebecca Park was hostile, particularly for British guests. The lack of support and the indifferent attitude of the hotel staff left us feeling abandoned and vulnerable. Even though I found alternative accommodations by myself, I still felt so scared that I waited until I got home to write this review, fearing those people might see us again if I spoke out while still in Gran Canaria. The manager mentioned that he had put up a sign to say no visitors, as people were just coming into the complex saying they were visiting for coffee. Yet later on that night, my daughter had the stone thrown at her through the window. The receptionist said
