great resort. my only complaint would be the a la carte system. being the only food that is awesome. the process to get in is difficult. was only able to get 3 in 7 days

This was a really nice resort. They kept the grounds very clean and everyday someone was out to make sure the lawn care was on point. The staff was very friendly and informative. This is a very large resort and I loved how there were carts that would take you to different parts of the resort including stopping and picking up near your building. You will have to make reservations for the restaurants the 1st night there 72 hrs out. If you do make any reservations, you will be stuck with the mediocre buffets, the limited sports bar, or the a la cart restaurant, which was amazing. The buffets had a vast variety of food but it wasnt anything to call home about. I think bc it's 2 resorts, they dont have the best quality. I would come back here but as a group and I'd get a villa. The rooms are nice and spacious. I enjoyed the jacuzzi in my bathroom and the large balconies. Very quiet and very family friendly.

We stayed on the family side so our location was optimal as it was close to transportation to the beach and walkable to the buffet and entertainment. This resort checked all the boxes for us on all levels. Would highly recommend for families with children. They have a daycare center for kids 4 and up. This was great for us as we could go and enjoy the beach for a couple hours by ourselves.
Staff are all very kind and helpful. Food was good for a resort and we would definitely return. This resort is made for families! Stay in the family room side you will not be disappointed.

I absolutely love this resort, this is my 3rd time staying here and one of my fav spots. However, the food is has gotten worse over the years , and the entertainment is minimum and is not diversified. I would definitely recommend but not sure how soon I’ll be back. For the price we pay, I believe the property overall can do much better. An extra thank you to my boy Nino…went over and beyond to assist us .

We had an amazing time during our stay at Grand Sunset Princess! The property is very clean, very well maintained, and very beautiful!
The rooms are specious, clean and we loved our swim out room! The staff are all so friendly and welcoming and always willing to help. The food was delicious and you have so many choices. Great beach and so clean! You will not be disappointed if you choose this resort! Highly recommended!

Friendly staff especially in our area they were quick to bring drinks and even made us specialty shots! Room was restocked every day with towels and drinks and if you asked for something they brought it right away. We were checked up on a couple times and asked if we needed anything so it was really great!

Nice property spread on large area. Multiple pools, walkable paths to beach, and multiple restaurants.
Room:
We had deluxe junior suite. Spacious room, 2 beds, and sofa bed. Balcony was good to sit and relax. Toilet had sewer smell and I, personally found this smell at the beach too and at nearby areas.
Restaurants:
Though there are many restaurants at this property, getting reservation is tough. Moreover, their app only works on their network and connectivity is limited to around lobby area. Buffet isn’t bad, but be prepared to repeat dining there few times during your stay.
The walk to beach from lobby area is long. do depending on where you get the room, you are either close to lobby or beach or somewhere in-between.
Overall good and worth the money spent

The room space was great! They do have a bleach smell. The food is okay, it's buffet-style, mostly salty. It's hard to get into the restaurants but we were there during a busy time. The Steakhouse was just okay. Overall, it was okay. I would not stay there again but it wasn't terrible.
